It is interesting to note that quality of the fresh fish is not consistent. Some of the fresh Sushi was excellent while others were only average. Place is very noisy. Believe we could have found better sushi in Seattle given the price paid. FYI spicy ginger tofu was very good.

My wife and I ate dinner here on the last night of our stay in Seattle. I would highly suggest that you make reservations because Umi Sake is very popular. We had several rolls: Legends of the rolls, Sounder roll and Pretty in Pink roll. The fish was fresh and the rolls were tasty. My only issue was that the... More

We went for happy hour - highly recommended if you are budget conscious. They actually have several happy hours, depending on where you sit and what time of day it is. But the sushi was above average. The happy hour menu had enough variety to be interesting. The regular menu looked extremely intriguing. We really liked the sake drinks. I... More

The food scene in Seattle is booming and this place is fully part of it. The space is vast with an indoor (outdoor feeling) area that has a real vibe. It's loud and crowded so be sure to book, the atmosphere is buzzing. The sushi was fine…not as amazing as some of the reviews would have you believe, it's not... More

On a recent workcation trip to Seattle, I was using my FRN app to find restaurants participating in their dining rewards program, and I required sushi. Umi Sake House came up on the list, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, so I checked it out. Umi is almost invisible if you're not looking for it, which in my experience means... More

we came in this restaurant around 2 pm without reservation.. after 10 minutes our table was ready. we have shared diverses types of sushis and sashimis , all very good and very well served. for starter we had a selection of tempura (vegetables and sea foods) light and tasty. Not the most well furnished japonaise restaurant in the world but... More

The assorted sushi and sashimi plates were excellent. Our waiter was friendly and as efficient as possible with such a large group (12) The waiter recommended some great bottles of sake.

It's a pretty nicely decorated place. Happy hour has some pretty good deal and the sushi was not bad for the price. The waiter was kinda rushing and had my bill wrong in the end though.

Food was above average. Service was extremely poor. Our waitress was completely unhelpful when it came to menu selections. She failed to bring our wine and beer. Rarely, is service so bad that it ruins a dining experience, but in this instance it did. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
