Yummy sushi..and veg too!

This place has one of the best selections of vegetarian Sushi rolls - you have to particularly try the Lucky Leprechaun - totally love it! This place is simply AMAZING!! The ambience is perfect to hang out with friends or a date with you significant one. We started with the Oyster Shooter and its out of this world! We returned the day after just to have another Oyster Shooter. The rolls were all really good and tasteful. The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality... More

Our tempura was very oily but the vegetables inside the batter were good. The seaweed salad and sushi/nigiri were delicious. The geoduck was so fresh I could taste the sea water. Very attractive dining room. The room gets very loud when the restaurant is full.

Searched to find high rated reviewed restaurant near our hotel in Belltown. Found Umi and made reservations for a Friday night. Due to late start, we had to call them and see if they had later table and luckily they did. When we arrived there at 8pm, were about 20 people waiting outside, but that seemed to be somewhat common... More

Ate dinner here with my wife tonight and I have to say it was one of the better meals I've ever had! Great, fresh nigiri, awesome bar, great atmosphere (music was fun and upbeat, mostly Oldies) dessert was very good and the service wave excellent. A gentleman named Chris took care of us very well . I don't live in... More

We went on Valentine's Day and they handled the rush/craziness better than most places. Very friendly staff, cool decor and the sushi was great. Extensive sake menu. Reasonably priced.

Went to Umi Sake House with two friends on Saturday night. We got excellent sushi and great affordable wine. Though the place was packed we got great and fast service. The only thing that bothered us is that when the place is packed like it was the noise is incredible, no sound proofing what so ever. Otherwise a great time... More

We had some of the best sushi at this restaurant. The flavor combinations really complimented each other. Unlike some other sushi places, they didn't just pour a bunch of sauce- they actually let the flavours of the fish speak for itself. Definitely a little pricey, but worth it.

I've eaten at a few sushi restaurants in Seattle but this is by far my favorite so far. Delicious rolls, mouthwatering nigiri, good choice of sake and friendly service. My only complaint that it was a bit noisy but that's because it was packed. If you love sushi, come with friends, order a bunch of rolls and tuck in.
