TASTE has been on our 'to eat' list for quite some time. Recently we made reservations for a Sunday afternoon (unnecessary) and headed downtown. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We shared a few items - the Eggs Benny and the yogurt were fantastic! They offer a full menu with lots of variety and something for everyone.... More

See its review on the Seattle Art Museum review. Great meal of Pacific North West Wild Salmon on farao grain. Husband also had a great meal. Both meals ranked very high on list of all meals we had in Greater Seattle Area during 7 night stay

After a morning of climbing all over downtown Seattle, we were hot, exhausted travelers who felt like we had just finished the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Despite our disheveled spirits, the wait staff was wonderful, seemed to understand exactly what we needed, magically restored our souls, and fed us a lovely meal that allowed us to enjoy the museum. After... More

The restaurant is conveniently located within the Seattle Art Museum and has a very interesting design. As the menu didn't offer many choices I picked a Louie salad with bay shrimp, even if I'm not a big salad fan. The salad was absolutely delicious and the service was really good. The restaurant also has really good prices for what it... More

If you're near the Seattle Art Museum and feeling peckish, duck into the museum restaurant, TASTE, and order any of the starters or sides. It won't take long. There's a list of delicious wines-by-the-glass to accompany. And, at least on the night I was there, the server was fast, friendly and helpful. Didn't order from the main menu, but that... More

I have favored TASTE as a perfect spot to eat before symphony concerts. That is, until Saturday evening. I had noted in my 6:30 resv. we had an 8 p.m. concert, right across the street. Order taken promptly, and first chourses arrived hot and delicious. The LONG wait began. Eventually another waiter tried to deliver duplicate first courses (by this... More

We found this while escaping the chaos of Pike Place. We walked in without reservations and found they were busy at 2:00 on a Saturday, not surprising. We were seated quickly and promptly had a waiter at the table. Food came quickly and was very good. The hamburger was cooked properly and had great flavor. The pasta cream dish was... More

A natural place to stop for lunch while at the museum, this venue is open for dinner as well. Modern furnishings. Large bar with seating. The menu and portions are small. Beef burger sliders with fries is the best of all offerings. Flat bread pizza with carmelized onions/ chees and balsamic should be a starter, not a lunch entree. While... More

Just got back from five days sight seeing in Seattle while my husband mentored at the Kois Center. This was by far the best lunch I had during my stay. I took a break during my museum viewing for lunch. This was perfect. Nice menu. Upscale Decor. Delightful light lunch. You must have dessert though. Their "The Spice Road" cookie... More

We tried the fixed price menu, each of us getting different things. The radicchio salad was fabulous. A good start to the meal. But the onion soup should have tipped us off. In a city of great bread, why did the gruyere covered toast that accompanied it taste like Wonder Bread with a slightly better crust? The bread brought to... More
