This was my 2nd trip and it did not disappoint. There was a restaurant week special going on app, pizza and dessert. We had: 1.) fire roasted beets, hazelnuts, farro, goat cheese- I am not a huge beet fan and this salad is served warm but it was good and if you like beets you should not miss this. 2.)... More

Serious Pie is a serious Pizza place with great additional options. The Pizza can be had without anything added and is fabulous. It is crowded and has family style seating. But it does what it does excellently.

Read reviews that Serious Pie in downtown Seattle had great pizza. It is one of many of Tom Douglas' restaurants and it was an easy walk from our rental apt. Fun atmosphere, wood-burning oven, friendly pizza guys and seriously delicious pizza. Salad good, too. Wish we had one near us in the SF Bay Area.

How can you make such wonderful food for such a reasonable price? Happy hour is a great way to sample A large portion of their menu and not break the bank.

Recommended by our hotel, we thought it would be a change of pace for us. It was packed and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. You have to share a table with others as there are only long picnic-like tables. Pretty noisy and hard to carry on a conversation across the table. That's the only criticism... More

Not a place to go if you like to have to have a variety to choose from. Waitress wasn't very friendly as well. Won't be coming back...

The only slight negative is the wait, it can be a difficult place to come with a group if you aren't super early. We ordered and shared all of the pizzas on the menu, which were all excellent. the waiter brought a slice of the coconut cream pie from neighboring restaurant Lola's for dessert. That is great service!

I first visited Serious Pie in 2012. After eating the mushroom and truffle cheese pizza and not living in Seattle, I swore I would figure out how to make it myself. I purchased the truffle cheese, truffle oil and porcine mushrooms from Amazon. I knew I could not replicate the brick oven. But I tried. No go. Unfortunately they are... More

Maybe I'm just a hillbilly or something but, I was expecting the "best pizza place" in Seattle to have more than 5 pizzas to pick from...this is a gourmet restaurant thats serving pizza...a personal pizza is $19, and theres hardly any to choose from....you either get plain cheese, potato and rosemary, clams and bacon, egg and proscuitto....none of these enticed... We had tix to a show at the Moore theater on a school night so we didn't have a lot of time. With no reservations, we were seated quickly, attended to by our waiter who took our order immediately (with a quick recommendation of the nightly special - which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed) and were served within ten minutes....
