Dined there with my wife a two children. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was fantastic. I highly recommend the bursts and rigatoni.

Tonight at Tavolata my wife and I started with the Heirloom Tomato salad, perfect. Then both entrees were amazing. The lemon donuts for dessert. The end to a great meal.

Pasta was perfectly done and sauces were wonderfully flavorful but service after seating was notably slow. Seated at 5 and our drinks were served 20 minutes later. When we were seated we were the only table inside at the time. I noted that our waiter had to polish all our wine glasses before bringing them to the table. I appreciate... More

My husband is still talking about the salmon dish he had, and the technique of cooking it well on the skin side and, as it is so fresh, rarer on the top. I think my mushroom ravioli was maybe the best ravioli I've ever had. Everyone in our party was happy, from the fish lover, vegetarian to meat devotee. And... More

We were in town visiting friends and they booked the four of us a table. The service was great with friendly staff, there was lots of choices on the menu, but the spicy rigatoni will take some beating it was delicious. This was enjoyed with a few bottles of red wine and then a great lemonciello. A great night... :-)

Had a fantastic dining experience here this weekend! Staff was friendly and we were sat right away in a nice intimate table. Prices were very reasonable making the night even better. Started with the Salumi Board , its rare that we love all the selections on the board and we were delighted this was the case! Request the Baguette to... More

Everything was very good - drinks, service, wait time on our orders, food. The only bad thing to say maybe is that the menu is limited. The potato gnocchi was delicious, as was the steak tartare. The table we sat at was a bit wide, so I was concerned we'd have a hard time having conversation across it (meeting a... More

I had the flatbread and rigatoni, both were quite good. Happy hour prices make the visit worth it. Good service, attentive and friendly staff.

Any meal that includes anchovies and beets gets my vote. To start, I had a a very tasty roasted beet dish that came with watercress, pistachios, and ricotta. I loved it. I nibbled on crusty bread dunked in olive oil and balsamic and sipped red wine while waiting on my main course -- spaghetti with ANCHOVIES and garlic. I emphasize... More

This was a Sunday night post-wedding evening out for a group of 27 - locals and visitors - up in the mezzanine. We went with a $30 prix fixe option which included: nice salad, high-quality cold cuts, amazing gnocchi, melt-in-your-mouth roasted pork, spicy rapini and choco-dipping zepole. Everyone (including our 2 veggies) was quite satisfied. Our server, Sara, and the... More
