Had outstanding food and top notch service. Highly recommend the crab/shrimp tatar tots. Beet salad was out of this world, SO good. Waiter went above and beyond to make our dinner experience perfect.

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is always fresh and the menu well thought out. You can't go wrong eating here. Close to Pike Place Market - but away from all the crowds.

We asked one of the guys throwing fish at Pike Marketplace where HE goes to eat when he wants good seafood near here. He steered us to the Steelhead Diner, which is a bit off the beaten track but within close walking distance to Pike Marketplace. I'm so glad we came! Great food, we sat at the bar under the... More

The gumbo is outrageously good. The only thing that we didn't care for was the General Manager when she practically slammed down our food plates when she brought them. And her voice was super loud and aggressive. We could have done without her. That being said, our waiter was excellent.

My husband and I had dinner here on a recent visit to Seattle. We had eaten here before and really enjoyed it so be decided to go back and I am very glad we did. You have to have the tater tots - they are possibly the perfect food. Shrimp, crab and taters all rolled into little bundles of heaven... More

Had a nice dinner here; started with clam chowder, which was very rich cream sauce and nice big chunks of clam, and then followed with cioppino, which had a nice assortment of huge shrimp, mussels, clams, and other seafood, all in a slightly spicy tomato-based broth. Very good and I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Seattle.

I had a great steak here, my friend had the trout. Both were awesome. I also had a local pumpkin ale that was nothing like anything I had anywhere else, just perfect. It was a small place but it was really hopping for a Wednesday night. Our waiter was a bit on the dingy side, but it added to the... More

Had dinner at this restaurant, it was good, service was fast and prompt. The portions are generous. Glass of Water was always kept full. I liked the fact to see the market and street while eating. I had the 3 course menu which was worth every penny.

I like to go to Steelhead Diner when at Pike Place Market around noon time and have always enjoyed a good-to-very good meal. A friend and I went there yesterday for lunch and enjoyed spicy steamed mussels, complete with sausage and other tasty ingredients. Though listed under "Savory Starters," our huge portions constituted a hearty meal. There was no way... More
