We actually really liked this restaurant very much. The food was excellent as was the service but some items on the menu were a lot more expensive than at similar area restaurants.

Hard to make a definitive review when half our party enjoyed their lunch and the other half was extremely disappointed. The mind set is that all restaurants down in the market area are going to be good, that is not always the case. When we arrived, there were numerous tables available but we were made to wait a good 10... More

We went here on a recommendation by a local and he did not steer us wrong. Between the two of us, my daughter ordered the lump crab tater tots and the poutine which is fries with cheese curds and brown gravy. Both appetizers were excellent. We also ordered the lump crab cake for $17 which is expensive but there were... More

Can't go wrong. Good beer and wine selection. Seafood is fresh with a eclectic menu. Casual atmosphere and near Pike Place Market. Very casual relaxed atmosphere.

This is a great location in the Pike Place Market with lovely bay view, and it's been around awhile so I always think it should be better than it is. Unfortunately it is not. The food is overpriced, and just 'OK'. The service is inattentive. After waiting and waiting and waiting for something I needed, I called out and waved... More

Seattle is full of good places to eat but if you are near the Pike Market this is as good as any. Fresh food, well prepared and a good choice of wines. Razor clam chowder was best I have had (even better than Pike Place Chowder in my opinion). Would recommend for lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is probably our favorite Seattle restaurant-- near Pike Place Market. Excellent choices including local ingredients-- fresh fish, bread, etc. The atmosphere is pure Seattle, with quality but no pretension. If you are from out of town or want to entertain visitors from out of town, particularly if you only have time for one meal, go here.

Many visits. No disappointments. Very excellent food, divine gumbo, sublime drinks. Amazing views if you book the right tables ahead of time, but suits the solo business traveller as you can eat comfortably at the bar. Not cheap, but good value. Enjoy!

The Steelhead Diner offers really good NW style food right by Pike's Place Market. We actually had a large group in their back room. The service was great and the food was really good. The salmon on grits and the steak on farro risoto were entres worth going back for. You gotta go. Its casual so you don't need to... More
