I splurged on the Jumbo Lump Dungeness Crab cake and the Artisan Head Lettuce and Strawberry Salad, with toasted‏ hazelnut vinaigrette, crumbled goat cheese and toasted hazelnuts. It was about $26 total, before tax, and worth every penny. The crab cake was indeed jumbo, so nice to not get the tiny little crab cakes I'm used to down south. The... More

Stopped in towards the end of their dinner service and had a great meal. The salmon was absolutely to die for... very fresh with a great sauce and some very creamy grits. But, I would expect it to be this delicious for $36. I think we "Diner" in the title, we had hoped for something a touch more affordable. But,... More

We went to Steelhead based on a friend's recommendation. The location is great - right off the Public Market. We got there around 6:45 p.m. And we're told it would be at least an hour wait (on a Thurs. Night). We decided to wait for a bit - while we were waiting, another couple with a family came in. They... My husband and I were visiting Seattle for just 2 days. We ate at this restaurant on both days. Why? Because the food and service were both phenomenal. First day, we ate out on the patio (you can’t see it from the entrance but you go through the restaurant out to it). You can’t see the ocean from the deck... More

We had the clam chowder and it was delicious. I am still dreaming of the fish tacos. The restaurant is located very near Pike Place. I can not wait to visit Seattle again and eat at the Steelhead. Great service.

Although tucked out of the way we received great service at a very reasonable cost. Excellent for fresh fish dishes.

I came as a solo diner with a baby, not every restaurants favourite combo I know. Steelhead stepped right up, gave me a table with a fantastic vantage of the 100s of people stopping to take photos of the Pike Place Market sign and provided absolutely fantastic service. First, the food is great! The chowder is thick, rich & everything... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Seattle with the best view. A seat at the end of the bar gives you the best food with the best view. Food is always outstanding and the service is impeccable. I will drive out of my way to eat here and have never been disappointed and will return again and again.

We enjoyed dinner here our last night in Seattle. Great atmosphere and service. We shared the spring rolls, very good. We had the pasta with mushrooms and the tuna also very good. We would eat here again, reservations recommended!

This was our first ever dinner in Seattle. steelhead is located in the heart of the Pikes Market action. The decor is comfortable but not too casual. There were 6 adults and two very little ones. Two of us had the salmon. It was the best salmon meal I have had out ever. Cooked med rare, moist, seasoned perfectly, served... More
