I had dinner with a group of 20. The service was fast and friendly. Instead of taking individual orders they brought us platters to share-salmon, vegetarian pasta, and beef. They were among the best group dishes I've ever enjoyed, beautifully prepared with delicious flavour combinations, with plenty for everyone. Salad and dessert were great too. Great location above Pike Place... More

We had a good dinner sitting at the counter. We didn't know we should have had a reservation. Service was excellent. Ciopino and clam chowder were great.

While in Seattle for business, a small group of us decided to walk to Pike Place Market for lunch. We were able to call ahead and get a reservation on the patio. The weather was gorgeous, the servers were wonderful, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the fish and chips if that's your thing. The portion is huge... More

I had the muscle appetizer and the copper river salmon. It was the most amazing salmon I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere too. Reservation recommended.

Went for lunch on Memorial Day. It was crowded but service was quick and attentive. The razor clam chowder is very special. Served with good quality bread. I also had the Alaskan salmon .....perfectly cooked and delicious.

Our hotel suggested Steelhead Diner, located a block from Pike's Market. Extensive menu made it hard to choose. My husband had the chicken / Andouille sausage gumbo - delicious and tasted as if it came straight from the Louisiana bayou, followed by fried oyster po'boy - - huge portions. My daughter had poutine fries with fresh cheese curds and the Cioppinio... More

They will bring you some dang good bread with soft butter-olive oil. But before you sink your teeth into it, sprinkle a little of the alderwood smoked salt (it's black like pepper) on the butter. Ok. Now you can eat that dang good bread. (I know. You're welcome.) Then, order up their signature tater tots: crabmeat, shrimp, potatoes and God-knows-what-else... More

We came to Steelhead Diner based on a recommendation from one of the fishmongers at Pike Place. We were not disappointed! The service was wonderful, food was out quickly. The crab cake was fresh, great chowder and the seafood pasta was amazing! Also great local wine. We were shocked at how inexpensive our meal was for the quality!

First time to Seattle wondering where to eat so we ask a fish monger at Pike Place. He recommended Steelhead Diner and we are glad he did. The food, service, and patio was great. Loved the crab cake. Oh and the price was just right too.
