I was looking for a place to have an early dinner (~4:45 pm) on a Tuesday afternoon. While wandering around Pike Place Public Market, I fairly stumbled upon the Steelhead Diner. What good fortune for me! It was "Seattle Restaurant Week" and the Steelhead was celebrating it with a $28 three-course prix fixe menu (see attached photo). It seemed like... More

This a must visit restaurant by the Market. You can see the water from a seat at the bar. Friendly service, great WA & OR wine list and delicious food.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, having eaten here last year during a visit to Seattle. The menu was entirely different, but just as tasty. Service was equally outstanding. Will definitely be back for a 3rd visit!

I had a business dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is across the road from the world famous Pike Place Market. The food was exceptional and consistent. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service. Would I recommend the Steelhead diner - yes. Will I be back. Yes. Go Seahawks Go

Went for lunch a little before noon on a weekday and the place was packed. Noisy and crowded. Service was slow. Food was OK, but not great. Feel out of place if you are not local or a regular.

Jeremy, our server, was so knowledgable of the menu and he was excellent! I had a crabcake and it was the best that I have ever had! I also had a salad that was delicious and fresh. The menu had a lot of diverse, natural and great pairings of things to eat......one of my favorite places of my whole life!

The food was so good here that we visited here three times during our daughters wedding weekend in Seattle. Must try the Chowder (every bit as good as in New England!) and the Gumber was equally amazing. Loved their version of the wedge salad, and the Salmon was as perefct as it could be for Seattle.

Steelhead Diner has been around for awhile and I have to say it's one of my favourite places to eat. I have to admit not everything is perfect there, but their poor boy sandwiches and soups are delicious. Rib Chops, Pork Belly, Fried Chicken are all divine. I also had a salad that had vanilla bean vinaigrette and I wouldn't... More

There seemed to be a nice atmosphere and bar scene in the main room as we entered this restaurant for lunch . But then we were seated in the auxiliary room ,which has no ambiance at all . Service was very inattentive . The highlight of the lunch turned out to be the cocktails which were excellent . The Bloody... More
