Sunday Dinner

Ate solo at the bar on a quiet Sunday night. Happy houri s 3-6:30pm, but missed it by about a half hour. Had the grilled caesar's salad - which was a novel and delicious take on the classic and the cheese plate - which had a great mix of savory and delicious selections. Lastly had the house... read more

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and a very inviting and friendly staff. We viewed the menu before walking in and saw many menu items labeled as "humanely raised chicken" and lots of "natural" and "organic" mentions throughout. Descriptions like this make the customer believe this restaurant has a focus/passion for humanely treated animals. Unfortunately, its a FRONT and a... More

This was my first time at this restaurant - the food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. The waiter was wonderful and his suggestions for dinner were excellent.

I would have rated Barolo Excellent if only the service had been quicker. It took forever for a waiter to come over after we were seated. The service was good but slow. The food was excellent, the wine selection was good too. The Gnocchi withe Pheasant was outstanding.

Set in a trendy space, barolo was at its best with its more rustic dishes. Too refute some of the complaints I read, our service was excellent and the portions were unquestionably on the large side. The focaccia with olive tampanode was delicious. Overall the apps were kind of disappointing, we had caprese - average, grilled calamari - good (tender... More

Full disclosure: I am Italian. Italian food is usually made up of few, high quality ingredients. Somehow, Italian restaurants in the USA seems to forget about the "few" and they feel obliged to add a large amount of ingredients (or cheese!) to well-know recipes. Luckily, this restaurant resisted to the temptation. The parmigiana I had was absolutely great, made of... More

I went here for lunch during restaurant week and it so delicious. My waitress was friendly and attentive and the ambiance is very nice. I had the spicy meatball appetizer and gnocchi with venison ragu for my entree and both were amazing. I will definitely return next time I'm in Seattle!

Okay, I was tried to give this resto 2 nd chance since ALL my friend are really love this place. Mackenzie was our Servant. She was really great. As for the kitchen it is still OK. No way how you can eat escargot this way - maybe it is some American style I am not aware of. It is overall... More

I love italian food, and Seattle is not short of good options- Ethan Stowell made a living at it here. This was just great food. The service was friendly, warm but slow, so make sure you wanna be with your lunch mates, I did, so the long wait for food service was not a problem. I had the salmon penne... More
