Fantastic service

It was my first trip to Seattle. My family arrived on a Sunday morning on 7 June 2015 and checked in to our rental apartment along Westlake Avenue. We decided to walk around and look for restaurants and shops/supermarkets to buy our daily essentials. While walking by the Barolo Ristorante, we... read more

We celebrated a birthday this week for my friend. We chose Barolo because the birthday gal wanted to have good Italian food. Great choice. The ambiance, the food and service was top notch. We were very happy with our food selection. We had a great time and wish we lived nearer. Too bad we live in Hawaii or we would... More

This restaurant was recommended by a server at another restaurant and based on the food we had, I would give it mixed reviews. The chef’s anti pasto misto was very good. The atmosphere was nice; seemed like a good drinks after work place and the service was great. We ordered the wild boar (cinghiale) which had good flavor but was... More

Barolo has always been a favorite of ours for dinner and happy hour when visiting Seattle. This trip we went for lunch and it was one of the best meals ever! Joseph was our server and he was attentive, personable and just a joy! We split the Ravioli of the day and the Salmon special and both were exceptional. I... More

My husband and I love this place. We frequent Barolo often. The foie gras is one of the best ever. Rabbit fettuccini is my favorite. They have great happy hour and beautiful people. Carly is the best !!!! Go there and see for yourself.

There aren't too many really great Sat night happy hours, but we've recently decided to check out some new places, and this is a keeper. We got the last 3 seats at the bar, but it was a great place to people watch and chat with the bartenders. Happy hour wines are $14/bottle and there are oodles of delicious food... More

This was a great recommendation from a friend and how right he was. I had the Osso Bucco and my friend had the Veal Chop special as main course. Spectacular Wine was excellent and was decanted for us at the table. Tomato and gorgonzola salad was a perfect start. The table next to us was a couple from Italy that... More

My friend and I were hungry after a conference session ended at the Westin, so we wandered a couple of blocks and walked into a nearly empty Barolo at 2:30 p.m. Did I seriously get a steak and ravioli plate for $14?? I wondered if I was imagining things? My mouth is watering again as I'm typing this. Can "gourmet"... More

We visited this Italian Restaurant on May 31, 2015 as a group of 6. The waiter in charge of our table was the best I've ever had in the U.S. in that he was full of sense of humor. He entertained us unbelievably hilariously with his many funny jokes. I took his recommendation of the wild boar steak, which was... More

Ate solo at the bar on a quiet Sunday night. Happy houri s 3-6:30pm, but missed it by about a half hour. Had the grilled caesar's salad - which was a novel and delicious take on the classic and the cheese plate - which had a great mix of savory and delicious selections. Lastly had the house ravioli with ricotta... More
