Delicious food in downtown Seattle

In Seattle for a wedding, we opted to try the bride's recommendation for a "date night dinner". I went here with some Seattle natives and they told me that this place is really in, maybe one of the few spots lively on a Thursday night. We had tapas and drinks. The food was good but the service was beyond slow at our table of four in the bar area. One of the guys we were with had... More

The concierge at our hotel recommended Barolo for lunch because it was close by and had outdoor seating. Although no one else was eating al fresco when we arrived, the hostess was happy to seat us outside. (Other diners soon followed suit.) Everything was so wonderful, we decided to make a reservation at Barolo for dinner the following evening. First,... More

Based on reviews, we decided the Barolo would be one of our dining experiences while in Seattle. Sure glad we did. Went during their Happy Hour and sat at the bar, when their bar menu is half price and a bottle of Italian wine is only $15. We shared the grilled Caesar salad and the calamari plate. Both were outstanding.... More

My husband and I enjoyed dessert & drinks at the bar as it was close to our hotel. The service was amazing. We had an awesome bartender who was new to Seattle but gave us some local info. Will go back. Ambience was perfect.

Barolo's was on our list of restaurants but didn't get there until our departure date. We went for happy hour and they have an excellent bar menu. Eggplant parmesan is delicious. Food is exceptionally good. Restaurant is a fine dining experience and not too expensive; great ambiance.

We walked in on a Friday night and were seated in the bar/lounge area which serves the full menu. Our server was very friendly and helped us select our meals. This place is quite chic, with candles and quite a modern feel. We observed that many of the guests were really well turned out and I couldn't help but feel... More

We celebrated a birthday this week for my friend. We chose Barolo because the birthday gal wanted to have good Italian food. Great choice. The ambiance, the food and service was top notch. We were very happy with our food selection. We had a great time and wish we lived nearer. Too bad we live in Hawaii or we would... More

This restaurant was recommended by a server at another restaurant and based on the food we had, I would give it mixed reviews. The chef’s anti pasto misto was very good. The atmosphere was nice; seemed like a good drinks after work place and the service was great. We ordered the wild boar (cinghiale) which had good flavor but was... More

Barolo has always been a favorite of ours for dinner and happy hour when visiting Seattle. This trip we went for lunch and it was one of the best meals ever! Joseph was our server and he was attentive, personable and just a joy! We split the Ravioli of the day and the Salmon special and both were exceptional. I... More
