Happy hour with a beach view

We enjoyed stopping in here on our beach day for some light eats during happy hour. Sangria was definitely tasty. We also liked the spicy shrimp, guacamole, and goat cheese jalapeno poppers. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly - he even gave us some tips on Seattle nightlife. The bar area... read more

3 co-workers & myself went to Cactus for dinner. Their jalapenos, cilantro infused margarita was wonderful. The entrees tasted great and are all made fresh ingredients. Sitting out on the patio we were able to turn our heads and have a beautiful view of the water and the mountains. What a wonderful place for dinner with a view.

Happy Hour on a sunny day is the best time to come to this Cactus. It is in our neighborhood so we are spoiled. The wait staff is typically really nice, there are a couple who could use a smile. The happy hour menu is full of great choices

When we travel to Seattle we usually dine at our favorite Mexican restaurant in the West Seattle junction. But our friends recommended Cactus, which they said is not your usual Mexican restaurant—it's more upscale. We often gauge Mexican restaurants based on their salsa: is it made onsite or is it out of a can? Is it chunky with lots of... More

Went there to have a few after sunset cocktails, they have a good variety of tequila cocktails and seemed to manage to prepare a good fruity mixes. Look forward to come back.

I really enjoyed my meal at Cactus. I ordered a non-alcoholic Ginger Mojito which is made with house made Ginger Beer. They serve housemade chips with a tasty fresh salsa. My entree was Portobello Fajitas with insanely good housemade corn tortillas which they refilled for free. All in all, great vibe , great food and Alki sunset. Perfect.

I ate at Cactus with some co-workers after a long day of meetings. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The restaurant is across the street from the beach on Alki Ave and parking is hard to get. My advice is to go with friends, get there early, enjoy some drinks, and enjoy a great meal.

Went here for sundowner after walking on Beach drive. Lovely to be able to sit in outside area of restaurant and have great drinks served with excellent service. Recommend the grapefruit tequilla drink. Generous with chips and salsa and very nice atmosphere.

The best carne asada my husband and I have ever had! Great food and service. The only down side is how busy they are so you have to wait to get in.

You cant beat the location on Alki, but parking is a bear! Once you enter the restaurant you will love the feel anywhere you sit. They have super spicy bloody marys and their shrimp tamales are to die for. They also have seasonal squash flowers deep fried, they are wonderful, oh and cant forget the homemade guac!!!!!
