Perfect coffee and quiche

Came here for breakfast on a whim. Coffee was great and I had a quiche to die for. My daughter had a breakfast sandwich. Both of us loved it. What a nice casual little find in the heart of the business district.

Yes, the baguette with goat cheese and ratatouille was very good. However, it was tiny. Last time I was in Paris, they seemed much larger to me... Not only that, but having been recently at Tartine in San Francisco – where I had a croque monsieur the size of a size 13 shoe – the portions at Belle Epicurean seemed... More

This bakery apparently has a business connection with the adjacent Fairmont Hotel, but the storefront does open directly onto 4th Avenue. The rolls taste fine, and probably are worth the extra $1.00 or so you will pay here to get your breakfast sweet fix over what it would cost you at a nearby Specialty's Bakery. I wouldn't go here every... More

I had breakfast: house-made granola (better than usual) with Greek yogurt and fresh berries. Absolutely wonderful! The staff were pleasant and efficient. I sat and watched the world go by outside at a charming little piano bench with table. The blackberries were enormous and tasty. Heavenly.

We just stopped for coffee. The coffee was good, the espresso not so much. They also had some pastries and sandwiches but we did not try any.

While staying at the Fairmont, I needed to grab a quick, early bite. I ordered the Pear Almond Brioche bun, and it was delicious. It was nice to find something that was both convenient and tasty.

This is a great place. Went here a couple of years ago when I was staying at the Fairmont, and loved the Almond Croissants. This time around, had the Ratatouille breakfast sandwich; it was exceptional. Coffee is good, but not great, had a Spanish latte which was decent, but I would definitely go for the sandwich and the pastries.

Excellent house wild mushroom soup was the highlight of this $15 lunch. Amazing chicken con fit salad with a ginger vinaigrette topped things off. Well worth the trip.

This place was connected to our hotel, so our first trip there was motivated by convenience. Our subsequent trips (and there were many) were because of the great coffee! The caramel latte is amazing, and I usually don't love caramel lattes. Their breakfast sandwiches are totally worth the trip, in particular the ratatouille, egg and cheese. If you're in the... More

I've always seen this place walking back to the W and finally hand a chance to stop in this morning. Fun little cafe in the fairmont that reminds me of a small french cafe. Very friendly service and the pastries are delicious starts to your day. Also enjoyed a lovely cappuccino on the run. Overall highly recommend for any stop... More
