First lunch in Seattle

My daughter brought us to this "hot" Columbia City eatery here for breakfast and told us we would need to get there early to make an appointment we had. She was right we were there at 7:45 for a Saturday morning 8am opening. By 8am there was a crowd waiting to get in. I'm not sure why they don't open... More

Met my sister-in-law for breakfast. When getting ready to order, learned I had a "special" sticker in my menu and my breakfast entrée was FREE!!! What a wonderful surprise! Our waitress advised the "specials" of the day; then promptly brought us coffee before a short wait until our breakfast was served. All was hot and tasty! Staff stopped by frequently... More

We enjoyed having lunch in this restaurant and all of us really enjoyed our lunch. The M and Cheese was to kill for. So all was fine until I received my check and noticed that they had added $.50 to my bill. The other couple with us also used a credit card but we're not charged this fee. Apparently they... More

Such a beautiful, sunlit corner location with warm brick walls and understated decor. Warm and inviting. The food was fantastic. The omelettes were excellent, and the hash browns had the perfect crunchy exterior but soft interior. If you're gluten-free, they offer Udi's GF bread, but they also can sub corn tortillas, which is what I did since I don't eat... More

My friends and I ate breakfast here. The omelets are great. They even have gluten free bread (however, they cannot make the bread into gf French toast, fyi). The avocado, pepper jack omelet was great and the chicken sausage was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Worth the wait.

The lines are long for breakfast on weekends, but seemingly worth the wait. I love the hash browns. The egg dishes are done to order, produce very good (my friend from California still raves about the tomatoes in an omelet), and room is not too noisy. You can go a bit late, or on weekdays and have a great experience.

Kinda catered to the yuppies.. Fancy plates, trendy... However, for a big guy like myself, I would much rather go to a Denny's or IHOP. A little pricey for breakfast...

I'm not a biggest fan of American food as most of it tend to be a bit oily for me. However, this was one of the better American food diner I went to. All of the food they brought was custom made and tasted decent. Even Nachos were interesting.

We enjoyed the best home style gourmet breakfast at this place during our vacation. The service and food were delicious!
