Whether you live in the neighborhood or you're visiting from far, far away, go to Alki and have Happy Hour at Celtic Swell. And, we can only hope, you get there before they run out of the salmon bites. Four bucks!! fresh salmon chunks in a light batter with a little Franks Hot Sauce. And then stay for the best... More

Just three little words describe the new menu at the Celtic Swell - "TO DIE FOR!!!!" What a great find on a sunny West Seattle weekend. We tried the Salmon Bites (bite sized pieces of tempura salmon with homemade buffalo sauce and chipotle aioli ....YUM!) available @ happy hour. The other treat was the Lamb Irish Stew (tasted like a... More

The Celtic Swell Irish Pub and Restaurant is fantastically situated on Alki Beach. It's looks northwest out across beautiful Puget Sound., its American and Irish flags proudly flying. And if the view, the wood bar of Honduran mahogany, or the outdoor beer garden does not entice you to visit, the taps of Guinness, Harp, Smithwuck, and a vast array of... More

Full of anticipation we went to the Celtic Swell for a meal. Our hopes of a good evening were dashed as we realised it was never going to come up to our expectations .Why not? The service was awful, although the waitress did her best. We waited 30minutes for our ORDER to be taken, then a further 20 minutes for each individual... More

Very cold beer & good food. The tv' s were very noisy but I've come to expect that! The service was great-- very fast and super attentive. Good location but no parking which is true of all Alki beach restaurants.

We recently moved to purchased a home in West Seattle and have been trying Alki restaurants. We rarely saw much activity here in the early evening when we eat so this was one of the last places that we have tried. The restaurant has an Irish pub feel but food and service left much to be desired. Food took about... More

Although the service was very friendly, it was incredibly slow. We waited 30 minutes to get a drink, and an hour and a half for our food. Mine was a BLT! On a Sunday night, this shouldn't have happened. The drinks were great, but the food was average when it finally arrived. For the number of people in the building,... More

We as locals just love Celtic Swells, the staff is very friendly and the food is awesome...we enjoy having a drink occasionally at the bar and there is alot of friendly people - St Patricks day they have a wonderful celebration where they gave away great gifts...I would rate them as a wonderful Irish PUB!
