I was at Rock Salt in Seattle this week and on a Tuesday afternoon at 6:00 they were out of oysters, had only one serving of clams left. The bar area was much dated and the food was of minimal quality. I would not suggest this restaurant to my fellow readers.

We went here for the 4th of July firework show over Lake Union. This was the only place left with reservations available...and we now know why! The only good thing about the place was the view of the lake. We ordered stuffed mushrooms that tasted like pizza, wine was hot, the oysters were warm and not cleaned and had grit... More

Food was great - really delicious. Service was great. Location/View is great. Restaurant itself is a bit worn.

Kind of a dated restaurant in decor but a great view and the food was good. Our server was very attentive and overall the visit was a good one. We will be back!!

Visiting Seattle with another couple for the 1st time in 20 years and stayed nearby this "restaurant". This area of town is torn up with street construction and the Outback we origanally planned to eat at had disappeared. Driving around trying to figure a plan B we spotted the Rock Salt alongside the harbor wall. The parking lot was full... More

We had lunch at the Rock Salt on a whim, because it was a sunny day & they are on Lake Union. When we walked in, we were seated in an atrium that was very sunny, with a somewhat obsucred view of the lake, but the worst thing was that the very large windows were covered with seagull poop. Since... More
