We really wanted to rate this more of a 3.5-3.75, not quite a 4 . . .but opted for the slightly higher rating because some things were done quite well. The greeting was a little hasty and not quite warm enough . . .although that changed over the course of the dining. Most of the wines are Italian or Spanish,... More

We love this place. The second you walk in the door, the wonderful smell of garlic greets you. This is a Spanish/Italian place in that they have pastas and classic Italian dishes but also Spanish dishes like chichas (chopped pork in spices) and shrimp in olive oil and hot peppers. Service is friendly and the owner/chef is awesome, stopping by... More

Dined there with a group of six. everyone of us had a different entree and everyone said it was the best pasta they'd had. Open late, but rarely crowded. Owner/chef and his wife are excellent hosts. Good wime list also, with mix of Spanish, Italian, and US wines.

Stormy and wet Sunday night, hungry for 'something' but not quite sure what. Knew we didn't want to eat at yet another Eastside venue, of which all too many seem identical. Headed over the 520 bridge and paid the toll, and the car just seemed to head to Eastlake . . . raining so hard we could scarcely see, and... More

We have been coming regularly to Pomodoro for years. The dishes are always great. Their house Ceasar salad is the best around. The capellini gamberi is a staple we return to time after time. Over the years I've sampled every dish on the menu-it's all good. We've also hosted several parties over the years: milestone birthdays and welcoming out-of-towners. Everyone... More

A mix of Spanish and Italian dishes, i.e delicious tapas along side wonderful pastas. Recommend the mushrooms, calamari and octopus to start. End with banana or peach flambé. Wines are great, primarily Spanish and Italian.

Wow, I was so happily surprised with Pomodoro. A friend recommend it to me and I owe this friend big time now. I had kinda expected just a normal Italian place, but that is not what you get here. You get something so much better! Lets see, what I rave about first. Parking, it's in Eastlake, so there is plenty... More

Several years ago, when our regular tapas restaurant closed, we drove past Pomodoro and asked to see the menu. We went back later, and it has become our "go to" tapas restaurant. We have always been treated well, and the food has always been very good. Usually it is just my husband and me, but we have also taken friends... More

Ate there three times over the course of a week, and each time was a fantastic dining experience. The chef was kind enough to adapt several dishes to my dietary constraints and they were great! wide assortment of tapas and pastas - we had to wait a few minutes for our capelinni and crab becasue the chef's wife was bringing... Five of us had a very satisfying expereince last Sat night. As a big plus, there is covered parking at night which is complimentary and abuts the restaurant. Our reservation was honored and we were given a perfect sized round table by the window. We've eaten here before and again, the owner/chef prepared our meal. The lighting is low and... More
