Delicious food, impressive service

Went there for a friend's going away dinner. It was an Italian dinner for me after a really long time. The restaurant is located in the middle of not so busy neighborhood, so you get a very good feeling of being in the mix of a city's hurly burly and a residential neighborhood's quiet. The décor of... read more

Perhaps it had been 6 or 8 months since we'd met freinds here and I'm so glad we returned. I still like the parking being provided (In the attached building). 4 of us had an out of the way round table, so the noise level was pretty good. I ordered the special pasta with features crab and was a litle... More

This is a charming small Italian restaurant. We went with our Italian friends that are real foodies and they loved the food. The gnocchi was excellent as well as the veal bolognese. The only disappointment was the tiramisu. It was good, but not fantastic. Everything else was fantastic. They have a full bar and they make an excellent manhattan.I don't... More

Visited Pomodoro for dinner - the food is so good we're surpirsed that the restaurant is rarely even close to full. We've also dined here late night (8 or 9 PM) and found it's easy to get a table and the menu is always pleasign. Chef Antolin is fabulous and may be willing to adapt your choices to fit dietary... This is one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate special occasions and out. Last night was another success and enjoyable evening celebrating a birthday. We had an early evening reservation for four they accommodated us by seating us at the larger table, the service excellent and personable, food exceptional and delicious, and I love the quaint atmosphere. My husband always... More

I hesitate to review this lovely little restaurant because I don't want it to get mobbed. It's in an unassuming location and you would never know it was there, especially because I've never seen any marketing (a friend told me about it). What I love: the food is great, the owner is lovely and always in the dining area, you... More

This is an average Mediterranean Style Restaurant. It is better than Olive Garden or any other chain Italian or Mediterranean type restaurant. I will get to why I am picky about Italian later. The positives: Service is very good. Even on 4th of July eve. Very personable. It feels like a neighborhood eatery and indeed looks like it and fits... More

We really wanted to rate this more of a 3.5-3.75, not quite a 4 . . .but opted for the slightly higher rating because some things were done quite well. The greeting was a little hasty and not quite warm enough . . .although that changed over the course of the dining. Most of the wines are Italian or Spanish,... More

We love this place. The second you walk in the door, the wonderful smell of garlic greets you. This is a Spanish/Italian place in that they have pastas and classic Italian dishes but also Spanish dishes like chichas (chopped pork in spices) and shrimp in olive oil and hot peppers. Service is friendly and the owner/chef is awesome, stopping by... More

Dined there with a group of six. everyone of us had a different entree and everyone said it was the best pasta they'd had. Open late, but rarely crowded. Owner/chef and his wife are excellent hosts. Good wime list also, with mix of Spanish, Italian, and US wines.
