Happy Hour at the Owl and Thistle

This restaurant and bar is located in an alley, a little hard to find but well worth it when you get there. This Irish pub has one of the best happy hours in Seattle. It has a happy hour seven days a week. We usually have the hummus dish for happy hour and the pork sliders. They are both a... read more

Happy Hour burger is quite big and it comes with home made fries for less than 5 dollars (without taxes). Honestly Burger looks kind of modest - you get thin patty, a leaf of lettuce, slice of tomato, onion and quarter of a pickle - but it tastes really good. Buns are soft, some of the fries may be too... More

Had dinner here and really enjoyed the setting. The service was good but maybe a tad slow. They have a huge big screen TV but also a quieter area away from it. I had the Fish N' Chips. The chips were very good, but the fish, not so much. Certainly not the Best in Town as advertised on the menu.... More

We stopped here for a pre-Sounders game bite and beverage. The staff was great and the Happy Hour deals were excellent, especially b/c you are within 1 mile walking distance to CenturyLink! Don't quote me, but I believe we got some pints for $2.75, a full size burger & fries for under $5, same with the fish and chips. Why... More

I always stop here for the first or last drink after or before getting on the ferry. This is always worth the small walk. They usually have live music, and the drinks are always flowing. The food is great too. You cant go wrong heading to this Irish pub.

Went for a walk, found it, and glad I did! Hows the song go? "I love this bar" Loved the atmosphere, a true irish pub with amazing clam chowder and even better fish n chips. The staff were awesome the Jameson flows like wine and the women flock like the salmon of Capastrano! Get down here have a drink, have... More

We had attended an early Mariner game and were walking back to our downtown hotel and wandered in here for a pint and ended up having dinner. So glad we did! Fish and chips were very good and another couple had a Reuben that looked awesome - and they pour a mean Guinness! Their Irish Mules were really tasty! Wait... More

Cool spot for happy hour. Fish 'n Chips only $5 during happy hour (and they taste great). Kind of dark and not so pretty, but it's a pub with good food, good drinks and good people!!
