We wandered in after seeing signs for Owl 'N Thistle on the main road. What a pleasant surprise! Nice cozy atmosphere and they even projected the ALCS game on the wall in the back. Would definitely go back.

We are here for lunch, after having fish and chips several places we finally found an authentic British taste. We would definitely recommend trying this little pub!!

Popped into The Owl 'n Thisel just last evening for a pint. Neat atmosphere, and decent taps. They had the World Series on - wouldn't have guessed it for a 'sports bar', but I guess it was the final game. Didn't have any food, but based on the vibe there, would definitely return to try!

Go here between 3pm and 6pm and have fish and chips or pulled pork sliders for about $5 each. Fun place to watch a sports event on their giant screen, too.

We decided to do lunch here upon the recommendation of our walking tour guide, Jake. It was exactly as he described. Quiet bar-type restaurant off the beaten track with sensational fish and chips.

The fish and chips were delicious. Usually I find this dish to greasy or heavily breaded to enjoy. This is the only fish and chips I would order again! Good happy hour and you can take advantage even if you have underage kids with you (they do buy some type of drink). Service was so-so.

I saw the sign for this pub when I was walking the skyway from the ferry. It's kinda hidden on a little eside street. Since I love owls, I had to try it based solely on the name. It is totally chill! The staff is super friendly, the beer is served promptly, and the people who come here care about... More

Too tired to go out again, hubby called in an order and went to pick up our order. Food was hot, delicious and well prepared. Hubby said service was great. We will dine IN the restaurant on our next visit.
