We went to this tavern in Belltown based on a travel guidebook. The recommendation (perhaps surprisingly) was spot on. Two Bells has a low-key, friendly staff, great burgers and great ales. It seems to embody the hip vibe that Seattle is purportedly all about. It's a must visit for a laid-back, cost conscious meal with superb beverages. We'll be back.

At our hotel too early to get a room and the concierge recommended Two Bells - and we were pleased he did. Food was delicious: Blue Cheese burger was yummy, beans were scrumptious, meals were plentiful and the sourdough buns were tasty. I loved the no-bun burger option (platter style) for a reduced price!!! Area a bit sketchy but the... More

My husband, friend, and I enjoyed our lunch at Two Bells Tavern recently. The food was good-- better than typical "bar food." I had the quick lunch, which was a spicy gumbo, cornbread, and a tasty salad. The homemade salad dressing was a nice touch. My husband enjoyed his french dip sandwich and my friend liked his black bean burger.... More

BEST Bloody Mary i've had in a long time (asked for an 8 out of 10 on the spicy scale). They also have an awesome Cherry Hard Cider...had maybe too many of those ;) Great service and the bartender walked myself and 3 friends the 2 blocks back to our hotel to make sure we got there safe.

It's kind of crazy to see the reviews change over the past year or so for this place. The burger was damn good. It was very different from what the norm is as it's put on like a baguette type roll but it works. The drinks were cheap and pretty damn stiff so that's always a plus. We started the... More

We recently got to go to the Denny Regrade area, Bell Town and visit one of Seattles perennial best taverns, The Two Bells. Patrick, Meredith, Julie, and the unnamed cooks in the kitchen all made us want to sell a our house in the burbs and move to Bell Town. The food has not changed much in 30 years, its... More

If you are looking for a great authentic tavern food experience, Two Bells is definitely the place. Offering a great range of beer on tap and bottle, the menu offers exactly what any good tavern should beyond good beer: great burgers, salads, sides and a few non burger items. The burger reputation is well deserved and the tavern environs and... More

This is a kind of "hole-in-the-wall" type of place and the bartender who served us was very friendly. We ordered the tavern burger with caramelized onions and cheddar (for an extra charge) which is rather big but tasted quite nice. The burger is served on a roll rather than the typical hamburger bun and the bread was nicely crisped and... More

Looked online for a "Cheers" kinda bar..good food friendly service... fun atmosphere, for a Seattle downtown week end.. Not here. Tables needed cleaning at the onset. Food was NOT as expected considering the reviews..and I am not picky at all.....just plain disappointed. Maybe the bartender was just having an off day, but hardly the friendliness a small, supposedly "hometown" bar... More

Found this little restaurant by browsing the city. Ordered something small to eat. The famous burger and a salat. Wow, small but good. Really tasty. My husband had a beer and I an apple cider, what was really good. Nice people behind the bar. The bar maybe needs a new paint.Restroom was clean.Price was ok.
