we went to Shorty’s, a dive bar that’s well known for it’s room of antique pinball machines - I think my boyfriend was in heaven. Not only do they serve cocktails but their food is apparently pretty awesome too, nachos and hotdogs… all pretty simple but sometimes it just hits the spot - especially when you’ve been drinking all night.... 10 taps with warm beer, at least two of them (the ones we tried). Hot dogs are the main menu item but did not try as they looked like they had been on the spit for awhile. If you just want to play pinball with other tattooed patrons, then this is the place for you. Would not recommend for families... More

I'm confused how Shorty's is billed as appropriate for families with children. Shorty's is a bar, always has been. Washington state law is 21+; no kids allowed. With that said, if you like cheap beer and playing pinball in a dive bar, then Shorty's is for you! Sadly, I remember when all machines were only a quarter to play. .... More

Didn't sample the food much but the atmosphere is great in this place. I want to open a Shortys in Ireland!! Our favourite bar from a 6 month world trip.

Had quite a lot of people there on a Thursday night. If you like cheap strong drinks and pinball this is the place for you. There are quite a few pinball tables in the back room and the tables in the main bar are made from old pinball tables. Pretty cool place to have a drink and some fun playing... More

Stopped by Shortys for some pinball and drinks after dinner. It was very crowded on a Saturday night which is not unexpected. They made Medieval Madness, a great pinball game as well as a few others. Games are about .75 each but we managed to win a few free games while there. I did notice that the quarter machine only... More

We stopped by Shortys for a beer and to play some pinball during a visit to Seattle. It is very dark once you walk through the door, but once your eyes have adjusted this is a great place. We grabbed a beer and then headed to the back room for some pinball. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

I was on a pinball mission a couple weeks ago and dragged the wife down to Seattle to play some pinball. Started at SPM and them drove over to Shorty's to play some Pinball. All I have to say is WOW! Some of the BEST pinball machines on the planet are here. Monster Bash, Indiana Jones, Addams Family, Medieval Madness,... More

We came upon Shorty's completely by accident, but so glad we did! We sat at the front bar and ordered up a drink...pretty good pricing for hard booze. Took a walk around to check the place out and discovered a back lounge...it was fantastic! Some very neat and comfy bar stools and great bartenders. A very unique atmosphere and a... More

PINBALL, sassy waitresses, cheap booze, arcade machines, and a realy cool vintage lounge in the back, absolute heaven for twenty-somethings. I bought a TSHIRT. The food is not great, eat somewhere else and go here for some FUN! GP, trust me on this one!!!
