Quick, cheap, and not bad.

I always feel a bit of guilt eating at Dick's, but with their low prices for a decent small burger, and great shakes, why not?? Easy on the fries though...they are a bit on the stringy, greasy side.

There's a reason they've been open over 50 years and are still popular: the great tasting food at a reasonable price and incredibly speedy service. You can't go wrong with fresh buns, fresh beef and fresh fries. As a heads up, they don't do any special orders/requests so picky eaters beware! (That's part of the reason service is so nice... At the recommendation of friends who live in the area, a group of us waited through long uncovered lines in the rain to give this place a try. The old-fashioned look of the place is appealing, but the menu is disappointingly and frustratingly rigid. They make the burgers one way with a specific set of toppings and they will not... More

This is not a serious eatery but worth swinging by after some drinks as we did! Very old fashioned incredibly cheap burgers (taste pretty poor) fries are good though!

This was the last "Seattle" thing we did on vacation since I read that it was iconic. If I ever go back I will definitely stop at Dick's again for the fries. The cheeseburger was good too but the fries are what I am still thinking about a week later.

... but during our first visit to Seattle to see friends, my wife and I experienced Snoqualmie Falls, Pike Place Market, the locks and fish ladder, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the duck boats, the original Starbucks, the Space Needle, had dinners at the exclusive Anthony's, Ray's, Sky City, and the Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls restaurants; and we even visited Victoria... Loyal customers but very average burgers and fries, many better burgers in town without the lines and wait.

Dick's has great burgers, fries, shakes and everything on their menu. The ingredients are fresh, great quality, and cooked fresh. The fries are not frozen and are outstanding. There is no equal.

Found this because it was near my hostel and cheap according to Google. Loved it. The menu is simple. (They don't allow substitutions or changes to the way the burgers are made, but that's one of the things that makes it great!) The prices are cheap. And the food was good. Similar to an In-n-out. If you're from the east... More
