This is not a serious eatery but worth swinging by after some drinks as we did! Very old fashioned incredibly cheap burgers (taste pretty poor) fries are good though!

This was the last "Seattle" thing we did on vacation since I read that it was iconic. If I ever go back I will definitely stop at Dick's again for the fries. The cheeseburger was good too but the fries are what I am still thinking about a week later.

... but during our first visit to Seattle to see friends, my wife and I experienced Snoqualmie Falls, Pike Place Market, the locks and fish ladder, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the duck boats, the original Starbucks, the Space Needle, had dinners at the exclusive Anthony's, Ray's, Sky City, and the Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls restaurants; and we even visited Victoria... Loyal customers but very average burgers and fries, many better burgers in town without the lines and wait.

Dick's has great burgers, fries, shakes and everything on their menu. The ingredients are fresh, great quality, and cooked fresh. The fries are not frozen and are outstanding. There is no equal.

Found this because it was near my hostel and cheap according to Google. Loved it. The menu is simple. (They don't allow substitutions or changes to the way the burgers are made, but that's one of the things that makes it great!) The prices are cheap. And the food was good. Similar to an In-n-out. If you're from the east... More

A local favorite. Please do not compare to McDonalds. It's tasty, and they treat their employees well. If you don't eat hamburgers you still don't want to miss the fries and shakes. Service is fast and efficient. Always a treat to stop at Dick's Drive in!

I am not sure what it is that makes Dick's Drive In Burgers so delectable but they are! I have been eating at this drive up since 1982 and it's just as it was then. Fresh cut and cooked real potato fries, and freshly made burgers right in front of you (NO MICROWAVES!!) You can see the whole kitchen! Fast... More

As soon as I come home to visit Seattle this is where I go. My grandma used to live in the neighborhood and I've been a Dick's Deluxe junkie ever since I was a kid. Every time I've been there the staff is always very nice- not just polite, very nice plus they hustle. For visitors- read the menu, it's... More
