You won't find much nightlife near Pike Place—especially not during the week. This place is the rare exception. It has a dark, cozy atmosphere, great flat bread pizzas, and a few good drinks. Don't expect stellar service though.

Having been in the Alibi Room before I remembered the good food. Still true. This time the staff was very unfriendly to us however. A big disappointment.

We went here for a friends party, and my fiance was carded and not let in (wallet stolen, no id at the time) but the front door person was letting young scantily clad young ladies in without an issue. The sluttier dressed young ladies were let right in - no checking id's or anything. Needless to say at that point,... More

This Bar might be difficult to find but it is right across from the gum wall. I guess the gum wall is a scenic tourist spot of Seattle. I was not so impressed with the drink selection but seemed to be a cool place to hang out. The pizzas are all wood fired and smelled great, but because I was... More

Some really original pizzas were on offer, and the portions were just right for my European appetite. Nice beer, and a really good atmosphere. It felt very authentic - I hope it was, and even if it wasn't I don't really care because I was convinced! Would love to go back at night - we had a lunch special. It's... More

We stopped at the Alibi Room on a Sunday afternoon during happy hour. It is in a pretty cool location and has a very relaxed vibe inside. The place was about a quarter full when we got there but by the time we left it was packed. We ordered one pizza to share and a couple of beers. They have... More

Had a great meal at this divey little place in Post Alley near Pike Place Market. Not many tables and dimly lit with candles, it's a tad creepy but has a super cool speak-easy type vibe. The pizzas are EXCELLENT! Music was great too.

We ate at the Alibi Room our last night in Seattle. I am so glad this was our last restaurant as it was the best the entire trip. We stopped in on a Sunday night at 8:00. The place was dead but a couple if tables taken. It is some what hidden around the gum wall by the Pike Place... More

A friend and I ate at the Alibi Room on a Friday night. The entrance in Post Alley is right where the Gum Wall is in Pike Place Market. At first glance it's very dark and rather dingy looking, but don't let that stop you. It was very busy, but we were able to get seating in the bar area.... More

We stopped on a rainy afternoon for a drink. The bar is dark and has a very vintage look. I had a delicious Irish coffee and my husband had a local brew. It also serves some very good looking pizza from a woodburning oven.
