Sichuan-style Spicy Food!

Love it. Worked in Sichuan a long time and became a lover of hot spicy, mouth-numbing Sichuan peppers in my ma po tofu, kung pao chicken, hot pot. This restaurant in the Seattle International District is one of our favorites and we go there once a month (or do take out). Don't be taken aback by the location or the area where this is situated (can be congested due to a large Asian Grocery Store in the same complex). The service and the food is excellent (one of... I put up with a lot of not so great Chinese food on a regular basis. Let's face it - the standards for quality are awful in 99% of the restaurants out there. People like unseasoned sweet stuff and the restaurants make it. Seven Stars is like a miracle - real food - real spice. You have not lived until... More

Chose by comments on Trip Advisor- Spot on. The food was fantastic, haven't had this good Chinese in ages. The Hot Pot Spare ribs were super spicy, but delicious. With 10 people and ordered 10 meals, probably only needed 7-8. Large servings plenty to share.

This restaurant offered wonderful food served family style. It was great to be able to try a little of everything that everyone ordered. The hand made noodles were so tasty!

Heard through the grapevine this was a good place for authentic and western food, so a few of us met for lunch. Come hungry! 7.99 goes a long way! Best hot and sour I've ever had. I had twice cooked pork, which they used bacon/belly for, which was different than I ever had, but great to help eat rice with... More

Parking is kinda tight, and looks pretty shady from the outside (building, elevator, stairs, etc.), but don't judge this book by its cover. This is a typical Chinese restaurant in the international district, with great vegetarian options. I've eaten here about three times over the last few months, and so far the service has been good, and the food has... More

It really helps if you know what to order. Every time I have a staple dish like the chong qin dry chicken I come away super satisfied. I can eat myself into a coma here. They have a really tasty soybean dish called fan xie mao dou (in english letters spelled kinda like this IIRC) that I could eat every... More

We had a quick lunch here but were impressed by the hot and sour soup and the mains. Well worth visiting, even if the area is a bit out of the way in a rather unprepossessing building.

So far, this is the best place we've found in Seattle for hot pot, recommended by someone from Sichuan. You can get the red soup and white soup and everything that comes with it is good. Last time we went, we decided to try the regular food. Everything was delicious. One of the specials was Hot Black Bean Sauce steamed... More
