Everything about this small restaurant is highly recommended, and I regret the possibility that another fine review could make it crowded. One caveat, the hostess's attire was seriously below and out-of-step with the rest of the establishment.

A meat dish here smelled slightly rancid but as I have not gotten sick in a US restaurant in a long time, I just shrugged it off as being too picky. Bad decision. An hour after the meal, I was bent over expelling whatever made me sick. I called the restaurant just to warn them as a courtesy. The response... More

One of our favoriate places to visit. Suggest that you get there when they open, as they do not take reservations unless you have a large group(8+). Food is encourged to be shared.

We have eaten here many times. Dishes are ordered a la carte on small plates and meant to be shared. Most of the time there is a great selection of fresh, locally sourced dishes. They have a great wine list and good desserts. Sometimes it's hard to get in because they don't take reservations. It is a little annoying when... More

Lovely neighborhood ambience in a classy, modified French small plates restaurant. They are trying many interesting things here - most menu items had a twist from the expected. I particularly liked the cold lime soda and the cheese plate. Many good veggie entries also. Even had MacNcheese for the kids.

Made reservations in advance for a friend's birthday party; reservations definitely recommended in light of the small size and limited # of tables in the restaurant. We tried several dishes on the menu, including the fondue, cheese plate, lamb, chicken, beef fries, etc. All were good and prepared well. Recommend it as a fun and different place to try with... Really enjoyed this place in a NW Seattle neighborhood location. We arrived during their happy hour and were treated to a varied assortment of small plates and drinks to choose from. Their full menu is also available. Atmosphere was much like a corner bistro in France. Service was pleasant and helpful. Food is well-priced and of high quality. It's fun... More

Pair is a charming neighborhood restaurants serving delicious, sharable small plates in a cozy and friendly environment. Wonderful fish dishes, sautéed brussels sprouts, cheese pies, salads, great wines by the glass and a chocolate torte with cherries. Service is helpful and prompt even though the place was busy.

Pair used to offer, when they opened, pairings of dishes and wine by the glass (thus the name -- which, to be honest, is what brought us through the door). That is the past (regretfully) but we were not disappointed since we ended up spending a wonderful evening. Today Pair still offers great wines by the glass or in bottles... More

What a perfect welcome to Seattle. Our first night in Seattle, our first meal. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, what more is there? Yes, it's French, but not too much French, just right a nice balance. Great wine selection. Parking an adventure that makes the find, that much better.
