I want start off by saying I had great expectations for this restaurant because of it's organic menu. I truly get no pleasure in providing not so go feedback to any restaurant because I realize many owners are trying to provide the best product for their customers. I ordered their PHIL’S BREAKFAST with egg whites and chicken sausage. Also the... More

Its a good reminder because what they serve is so appetizing, you could easily experience eyes bigger than the stomach syndrome. What they offer is fresh and well prepared, The seasonal fruit is especially enjoyable.

Everyone had a 5 star breakfast! The linguicia, egg & potato dish had my husband in heaven. I loved the berry bar and our friends each found something that was perfect for them. We were lucky no long line as we had been warned that it can be a wait.. We had a wonderful waiter and he was so friendly... More

Waits can be long for breakfast. The food and people watching are worth it if you have the time. Light and open space. They emphasize organic and sustainable so I thought the logo was a green leaf until noticing crew shells hanging overhead. For 1 to 3 people keep an eye on the counter to bypass the line.

The portions are hearty and selections are plentiful. Definitely order an item that gives you an visit to the berry and whip cream bar, you won't be disappointed. You can call ahead for a reservation which I recommend because it's a popular breakfast spot in the south Lake Union area. Order the oatmeal crunch French toast, along with berry bar... More

We just happened to be in the area for an event with some family friends and were looking for a nice brunch place. And this happened to be the closest spot (from the Amazon.com buildings) that came up on a smartphone search for "brunch". But boy were we lucky. Everything they serve is local/organic. The 5 kids we were with... More

We visited the Portage Bay Café in Lake Union for breakfast during a recent Seattle visit. A very popular café, and worth the wait. We enjoyed the fresh berry bar where you can select from a variety of fruit to accompany your meal. The French toast was delicious, and the portion was very large which made it easy to share.... Recommended to us by one of the employees at our hotel, the food was fantastic. It was was delicious, fresh, local, organic, etc. It will definitely be on my list of places to revisit during our next trip to Seattle. The drawbacks are the crowds (it is very busy), the noise level inside (there were so many people yelling over... More

This place had been recommended previously when we were looking for a place on a weekend, but we were warned that there would be a very long wait. This time, we had the chance to go on a Friday and we were not disappointed. There is a varied brunch menu, something to suit every taste and diet. Each of the... More

If you are a fan a brunch I must recommend this place. Had a great experience minus the wait time. I waited in line for about an hour after writing my parties name down. Luckily it is near alot of great attractions near the university district near UW, so there is plenty to do to occupy your time. The food... More
