Our tour guide from Seattle by Foot coffee crawl recommended this breakfast place to us and we are glad he did. We were impressed with how fresh the food was and that they procure a lot of organic and natural ingredients. Shawna Q was a great server and made sure that my wife's egg allergy was addressed in recommending entrees.... More

Great food. More than one person could or should eat. Consider sharing so that you can drag yourself out. My wife and I could not finish one meal

My husband and I are from Austin Texas and had breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe. It was fabulous! My husband ordered the french toast. It literally melted in his mouth. I ordered classic eggs Benedict. It was unbelievable! Our waiter Kevin was very attentive. Atmosphere is very comfortable.

A local recommended this place for breakfast on a recent Sunday morning. We were told 30 minutes and were seated in 2 minutes so that was good. They also had rice milk for my husband's coffee - harder to find than it should be. We ordered standard fare (pancakes/eggs/sausage) and it was delivered in three separate trips and every single... My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here the other day. Loved the variety of healthy choices on the menu and decided on a salad. Very good. My husband had a sandwich which was good too. Enjoyed sitting outside on their covered patio and wished we had learned of this place earlier to enjoy a breakfast (their waffle options... More

I stopped by to pick up lunch to go at this highly rated cafe, planning to bring the meal along on my flight back to Boston. When I got to the airport and opened up my to-go package, I found that my $18 sandwich was missing its side of roast potatoes. A lot of money for a turkey club :(

First our waitperson was really bad. She was inattenive at best. Took forever for her to take our order. She never refilled our beverages and the coffee drinkers only got more by flagging down another wait person. I got pancakes so I could indugle in the wonderful toppings bar (fresh berries, etc.) but by the time we got our food... More

I was expecting much more. The restaurant seems to specialize in serving kids and teens a large portion of pancakes or french toast and has a table with whipped cream, different fruits, and syrups that patrons can take their plates to and shovel it on. Really for families who want to "load up". I had the hash, which should be... More

A great spot for Sunday brunch. Always a crowd, and a wait, but that's part of the experience. Had Dave's Special today - a large pancake and an egg, with lots of fresh berries from the fruit bar!

We went for Saturday brunch. The food was amazing. As a person that must eat gluten and soy free, I was surprised at the variety of choices available. I grew up having Swedish pancakes with Lingenberries, but theirs are the best I'very ever had. To be able to have pancakes, french toast, etc . that are gluten free is really... More
