Flavorful food and excellent service

We met a friend for dinner and were very pleased. The food was excellent and the service was spot on. We are a group of picky eaters and each one of us left completely satisfied. We will definitely go again next time in town.

So good, you'll want two bags. My Mister and I stop at Lola for breakfast whenever we have friends from out of town staying downtown (plus, we like staying at Hotel Andra - some couples have a song, we have a hotel). Dinner at Lola is more to my Mister's liking than mine, but I have self-imposed eating restrictions that... More

It's hard to get a table at any restaurants in the city any time of the day so we took our time getting up and out of the room, after all it's a mini holiday, give yourself a break! We wanted to have brunch at Lola's and because we timed it right, we were able to get seated within 10... More

The food itself was delicious, but I am not a fan of the a la carte style menu. I feel it is just a gimmick to charge more when you have to order a little meat kebab for $15 and the vegetable side is another $8. (We didn't order any of the $28+ meats.) I understand the dishes are to... More

Came her for lunch without reservation but was seated within 10minutes. Had three different spreads w pita bread, two were really good, the kalamata tapenade was too salty and tasted like chopped anchovies. Had lamb kebab, which were tasty and lamb shawarma that came dripping allover and there was not enough dip. Waitress was efficient and pleasant.

I had read about "Tom's favorite breakfast" and gave it a try. Turned out to not be my favorite. It was good. I was expecting more. Interesting atmosphere.

The French onion soup was so dense and syrupy, it was like a gravy/onion stew, than soup. Delicate balance between rich soup or 'onion sauce.' Guess it was on the heat too long. Crab balls (croquette?) was awful. Mush interior, with no hint of seafood flavor. Sent back, there was no charge. Ordered scallop dish. Nice but no bread (paid... More

Great service and very good food. Service was excellent. Nice use of subtle spices to enhance omelette and the homemade jam is excellent.

With out a doubt this is our favorite restaurant in the Seattle area. Lola's is another Tom Douglas place and he has done it right. The establishment is not huge and does get a little noisy, but go with the flow and know that you are going to be so happy with your dinner everything else has no importance! This... More

The service was great, the cocktails and food were interesting and delicious. Loved the decor, nice and quiet, and great place to hang if staying in the hotel or just visiting!
