Funky old house conversion with funky furnishings. Tightly spaced tables in small rooms, but - oh, the food. Delicious. Very busy place on weekends,

On a busy street with, up a ten cement stairs to the porch and the door leading to this home where the rooms have become a comfortable, excellent dining experience. There is even a full bar!! Perfect menu with plenty of choices, accommodating staff with the ability to adjust menu items to dietary needs, excellent coffee, quick service. Accommodates less... More

Okay, so it's just a few steps, but yes... Oh so worth the fun menu and quaint home-turned-restaurant fare! You know that Mom who used to let all the kids come hang out at their house? Yeah, well it's kinda like that! We went on a weekday morning, so there wasn't much crowd. I've driven by here many times and... More

If you decide to have breakfast at this restaurant on a weekend and do not arrive early you may have quite a long wait to be seated. Once seated service is usually pretty good and there is a decent variety of entrees offered for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are excellent but as mentioned in earlier posts if you don't get... Darling little cafe-used to be a house I'd guess. Lots of foliage and flowers on the walk up the stairs. Decided on the Mac and cheese and was not disappointed! My husband had the Hawaii 5 oh and it was also delicious! Really nice sized portions-a little expensive. They have a great drink menu too though we did not have... More

Got to love the cinnamon rolls (have to get there somewhat early otherwise they'll be sold out). The "Mega Migas," "It's Da Bomb Burrito," "French Toast Slam," "Eggs Bendict," are all great choices. Feels like you're eating at somebody's home. Pretty simple, to the point and nothing overly fancy. Low-key, good food, and great staff.

The Wild Mountain Cafe is in the Ballad neighborhood on the north side of Seattle. It is housed in a purple house sitting atop a small staircase from the street. The decor is bright with colorful pictures. If the tomato vegetable soup is typical of daily selections then I'd want to taste all of them. It was very tasty with... More

This restaurant has never disappointed us and we can recommend it for anytime of the day - it is just that breakfast is our favorite. The finer points include very tasty, crisp bacon, coffee that is very flavorful (not burnt), fluffy scrambled eggs and light puffy French toast. Located in an house converted into a restaurant there are essentially two... More

The restaurant in located in an old house. There is so much character in the house house and the food is fabulous and tasty. A neighborhood gem. Weekend features their out of this world cinnamon buns, so arrive early to not miss these delicious treasures! The staff is very nice and truly enjoy working there. Angela is such a sweetheart...
