I asked my hotel concierge where to go for great ribs in Seattle and they were right... The Frontier rooms are easy to miss but you should look for them on 1st Avenue, not far from the Pike Place market because the ribs I had here were fantastic. I had a half rack of baby back ribs and they were... More

Saw the happy Hour sign on our way to Pike Place Market - typical tourists! Saw the Market, took a few pictures and headed back to check out The Frontier Room. Arrived toward the end of HH so the earlier crowd was gone. Chose outdoor seating, $3.00 wine, already a winner. Then decided to order a "light" supper. Pulled pork... More

This place is a total dive and its so dark you can barely read the menu. The food was good, cornbread was extremely dry and the waiter Charlie was so slow it was absolutely ridiculous. Oh top of it when we looked at our bank account this morning Charlie decided to charge an extra 20% on our bank card even... More

Hubby had pulled pork sandwich and I had smoked salmon burger. Yummy meats, greasy fries. Service was very slow, but they apologized and offered us to come back for a freebie later.

Frontier Room was an excellent dive bar in the 90s. I moved back to Seattle and its some cheesy BBQ joint. Service was great and helpful, but just change the name already. The Frontier Room in Seattle means something way different then what it is today. It was dark, seedy, and had an epic jukebox back in the day. Oh... More

It may not be the best BBQ in Seattle but it's very good. The happy hour menu sports $6 to $10 versions of the same giant portions offered from the regular menu. The only difference is that no substitutions are allowed. For $10 I got a heaping plate of melt in your mouth brisket with slaw. Paired with a $3... More

Rude bartenders and bouncer. Friend took sick while at the bar and the bouncer treated him like a criminal and forced him to leave. There's more than just the food at a restaurant. The people who run this place should be ashamed of themselves!! The owner has been nonresponsive to my attempts to reach him today. The impact to his... More

The Frontier Room is decorated in Southern Ranch style decor. The portions are very large with big racks of ribs with barbcue sauce. I felt the food was lacking a bit in flavour. The restaurant staff were friendly and the restaurant was an easy walk from Pike's Place Market.

Fabulous sandwiches and baby back ribs. The shrimp etouffee was expensive and uninteresting, but if you stick to the sandwiches and sides, you can't go wrong
