A group of us eats here every so often. I am not an expert on Indian food, so I don't "great" from "ordinary". Have a had variety of dishes myself, and sampled others. They are tasty, are made with fresh ingredients, and well presented. Service is good, too.

Oh my, this place is such a treat! The food is delectable and addicting. This is by far some of the best Indian food our family has eaten and we have tried many Indian restaurants in Seattle, Spokane, and So. Cal. Loooove their garlic nan, coconut curry with shrimp, and tiki masala with chicken - yum! The prices are moderate... More

I have been here twice and each time I paid a lot for stinky below average food! The bread tastes like nothing and the curry is bland. I cannot believe how over rated this place is! It is always packed and it stumps me! The service is fantastic despite being overwhelmed with customers. But the food is really really not... More

We've been coming to this restaurant for over 16 years! The food and service is consistently excellent. A very popular restaurant, so expect to wait most times, but the service is so good they move tables very quickly! We usually order the same thing; garlic naan with peach and mint chutney, tikka masala with prawns, madras chili masala with lamb,... More

Taste of India is like a taste of heaven! Superb food, with generous servings, and often a complimentary appetizer or dessert. The service is unbeatable, they attend to your every need, very friendly manager & servers. The atmosphere feels charmingly Indian with beautiful Indian quilts on the walls and a bit of music to match, and columns and always busy.... More

No place for Indian Food can be better than this. This place is a rare combination of awesome food and exemplary customer service. I simply wish that they could open another branch in east side of lake Washington to break the monopoly of pathetic Indian restaurants, who indeed offer good food at times, but have surprisingly bad customer service and rowdy... Looks small on the outside but seems to go on forever on the inside. Intimate dining space. Excellent service. Definitely order the chai because they refill it constantly! Warm and delicious. Large menu with good variety. I ordered the lamb kabob, which was good. The Kashmiri Nan was excellent, almost like a dessert. The nans come in large portions too... More

Once again, on a visit to Seattle, we chose Taste of India. This is a friendly place with wonderful aromas and delicious food. It is always busy but feels very comfortable...so cozy on a rainy night! A small complimentary appetizer with wonderful sauces welcomes you along with great service! Try the basil nan as a larger appetizer. Everything we have... More

Some of the best Indian we've had in the states. You'll have to go to GTA, Great Britain or India for better.
