This restaurant is unique, it's an Indian that's not an Indian, despite it not having many dishes I recognised on the menu, when I said I wanted a jalfrezi he said not a problem they would make it for me, sadly it wasn't actually like any jalfrezi I had ever had, it wasn't unpleasant but it wasn't what I expected.... This is a sibling restaurant to the Cedars in U district (Indian food, not the one on 43rd) and used to serve much better food for value than Cedars, but it has become somewhat like Cedars. Their food was good, but not good enough for the increase in price about a year or so ago. Still, it is one of... More

I had come here alone for lunch and was really satisfied with quality of food and service. During my second visit, we were a group of 14 people. They made seating arrangement for us within 10 minutes. We ordered most of the special dishes (veg & non-veg) served in the restaurant starting from starters, drinks, naan, curry, biryani and desserts.... More

Second trip to this restaurant was even better than the first, food wise. Everything was good - aloo golbi, chicken tikka masala, raita, garlic naan. We had rogan josh last time, which was also good. Neverending iced or hot chai. There was no wait, even on a Friday evening - this restaurant is run very efficiently. However, we did have... More

Oh yeah, the butter chicken and chicken curry is some good stuff! They have a delicious complementary appetizer and dessert that is really good as well. There is limited seating outside, but we sat outside and had wonderful service. This place was great, I would recommend it and go back in a heartbeat.

If you are missing Indian food in Seattle, look no further than Taste of India. Priced right, and will remind you of the home cooked meals. Tried most veg and non-veg main dishes and was impressed by one and all.

I have been going to this place for years, and I always make sure to bring friends and family that has not been here. It is always busy, but the table turnover is pretty quick. I almost always go for the mango curry, but everything is so delicious. Definitely go for the pesto naan and order extra chutney on the... More

A group of us eats here every so often. I am not an expert on Indian food, so I don't "great" from "ordinary". Have a had variety of dishes myself, and sampled others. They are tasty, are made with fresh ingredients, and well presented. Service is good, too.

Oh my, this place is such a treat! The food is delectable and addicting. This is by far some of the best Indian food our family has eaten and we have tried many Indian restaurants in Seattle, Spokane, and So. Cal. Loooove their garlic nan, coconut curry with shrimp, and tiki masala with chicken - yum! The prices are moderate... More
