The first thing you will experience is the absolutely incredible aroma of spices and curries. It smells heavenly. Shortly after being seated, we were treated to a complimentary potato covered in chickpea flour then fried served with tamarind and mint chutneys. Delicious. Ultimately, we ordered Vegetarian delight as an appetizer, my son got his usual Mango Lassi, and Chicken Tikka... More

I love Indian Food and have been to many of the local Indian restaurants over the past years. There are always new ones opening as Seattle and surroundings have a large Indian population and there are a few long term staples we go to for 20 years now. While Taste of India is not one I had considered one of... More

I had the aloo paratha and a jalfrazie that was large enough to be a meal on its own. Everything was flavorful, service was excellent and the portions were generous. Can't go wrong here.

My wife, daughter, son-in-law and I ate at this restaurant. The atmosphere is nothing out of the ordinary, but the food is. I like my food with no stars heat and I was very satisfied. The rest of the family ordered more heat and they got it. Everyone went home with extra food and a happy stomach.

Warm and friendly, this restaurant seems to be in such an out of the way location. Had our Uber driver not told us about it we probably would have missed the experience. Deep, rich flavors in the Nan, curry dishes and dessert. The staff was really great, and about 4 different people stopped by for one reason or another. This... More

This place is bigger than it looks. We were seated all the way on the north end where you had to take a few turns to get to, but it was like having our own private room without the doors. As others have commented, the wait staff is great (refreshing change from other types of Asian restaurants) and they can... More

We came here with friends, who have eaten there every time they come to this neighborhood. We enjoyed the friendly and professional service, the appetizers, the main meal, the naan, the sauces that come with it, and - - - oh, the chai! Fabulous. My husband chose the gyro from the Mediterranean menu, and I had mango curry with tofu... More

First off, the food is delicious. We had the standards - tikka masala, saar paneer, chicken curry, navratam korma - and all were excellent. The paneer is clearly fresh. And we went on valentine's day, thinking that it wouldn't be crazy busy as the food is delicious but who feels romantic after loading up on Indian food? Apparently, everyone else... More

Recommended by a friend. Great menu selections, lots of vegan and gluten free options, busy place. Large portions. We could have shared with 2 other people. Chicken dishes melt in your mouth and the spinach paag was Yummy! The wait staff was great, expect not to rush in here, great food takes time to prepare. I will come again.
