Our favorite Indian restaurant

We have been eating here for years, and even after we moved to the east side of Seattle, over 6 years ago, we still make the hour plus drive for Indian food here. Taste of India has the best lamb vindaloo we have ever had, in fact everything we've had here is delicious. It's not fancy but it's... read more

I love Indian food, and have eaten at a huge variety of Indian restaurants in many cities. This is my favorite Indian restaurant! It is very unassuming from the outside, but the inside is beautiful and cozy. There are romantic nooks for couples, and busier areas for families. Flavors are amazing, prices are reasonable. If you live in Seattle and... More

I've eaten here several times over the past few years. It's not fancy but the Indian food is very tasty, portions are good, service is prompt and friendly, and prices are good. I will continue to return.

My wife and I try many other Indian restaurants and this is our favorite! We love the spinach naan and I particularly like the royal biryani with lamb.

This is one of the best places to eat Indian food that I've found in Seattle. The vegetable samosas's are the best in the city, by far. I was served the largest single piece of naan that I've seen. The eggplant Bharta was also very good. Service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

We have eaten at Taste of India for years, and ordered takeout as well. It has always been reliably delicious... until now. Our first clue that things might be awry was the inclusion of a $10 coupon for our next purchase. Then we noticed they had failed to include the two sauces that generally go with the naan. My lamb... My adult daughters both have eaten here at separate time with their family and we have shared the good food together. It is a place to try different dishes and then look forward to a return when you can have a favorite. I like 0 heat and they accommodate me. My daughters and their family like heat and they get... We found this restaurant through a Yelp search and went with high expectations. The service was initially good. The restaurant had a big staff and we were a bit on the early side so we were the focus of their attention. Not bad. Until we asked for dinner-sized plates. The server brought two plates. She put one down and noticed... More

Great value, all of the menu item appetizers were 1/2 price all day! What a great deal. Plus the bartenders had made the drink menu and made up the ingredients for a lot of fun new drinks, kind of like Speak Easy bar drinks. Yummy. You can order off the larger menu too if you wish. We had a great... More

We went with our family members to the Taste of India for dinner. We usually like to sit outside but the weather was not great so we sat inside. The service was great we never had a problem. The tamarind sauce with mint was outstanding, I could have eaten that all day. We had prawn vindaloo, lamb biryani, lamb tikka... More
