Dirty cafe, okay food, decent view, wouldn't come back

Recommended by one of the nearby store owners who is an old acquaintance of our sister-in-law’s family, our group of 12 was able to squeeze in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had to bus our own tables with dry napkins which left the surfaces sticky. The clam chowder was pretty good... read more

Stopped here for lunch. Ordered fish chowder and half a turkey sandwich. The soup was watery with no fish. Sandwich had one small piece of turkey on it and the bread was enormous. Just all bread. One small slice of turkey.

Breakfast on a sleepy Saturday morning with fog on the harbor was quite peaceful. Food was a good value and service was great. You order at the counter, and they bring it out. Good service and food... recommended for a casual visit.

My husband and I both agree that we had the best breakfasts ever here! I had the eggs Benedict with salmon and he had the crab cake frittata. The hollandaise sauce, salmon, and eggs for my Benedict were all fresh and expertly prepared. Even the home fries, made with red potatoes, were great. Coupled with the great views, this little... don't go here alone esp if you are a woman. I saw other folks waited on who came in after me and if I wasn't so hungry I would have left. the food was good but being overlooked for so long didn't help the digestion. it was that way through the meal.

The views were spectacular! the service was good. The Clam chowder filling and tasty....a little too much bay leave but ....really good. Bread bowl was fresh. The Salmon was fresh and delicious. Overall prices were very reasonable. I would go here again.

The clam chowder was really good; don't get me wrong. It was very good but what made this lunch really wonderful was the view from our seats. The sound was out there; we could watch the ferries coming and going, the ferris wheel turning and the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula in the background. Prices were very reasonable and the... Excellent service people! Great salad bar and sandwiches. Breakfast options looked awesome some only available till 11:00am. My 6 yr old daughter wanted kids pancake with whip cream and fresh fruit but it was 1:00pm. The server persuaded the cook to make the pancake plate and made my daughter's Day!! Awesome service! Great food! Loved the experience... Will be back... More
