Good Food and Outstanding View

This is really a casual place with a great view. I was fortunate when we visited to start with a Rainier Draft Beer, a place I used to work at in Seattle back in the early 1970's while attending UW. I had some nice chowder and a really good shrimp Caesar salad. The view of the city is the best... read more

When the weather is beautiful in Seattle, head West to Salty's restaurant. If you're fortunate enough to get an outside table ( and it's summertime when the weather cooperates ), sit down and enjoy the view! If it gets too hot, however, ask for an umbrella. The food was delicious, with seafood being the main emphasis. The fish and chips... More

The view is definitely good and the buffet price is charged to some extent for that as well. Service is good but food is pretty average. The spread is huge with different types of food - starting from eggs benedict to steaks and sea food. If you are looking for spread and quantity then this is the place, for quality... More

The view alone is just priceless sitting on the water with a view of the Space needle and Ferris wheel. Small group of five and we all enjoyed our various dishes. Some of the portion sizes are bigger than you would expect so be prepared to take some with you. I will have to make this part of every travel... More

I have never been to this side of Seattle before and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is located on the waterfront near other beach like activities and the view is wonderful. The food tasted great as you would expect from a seafood restaurant in Seattle. Waitstaff did a great job and accommodated a large party without missing a beat.... More

On my second day at Seattle, my friend Paula treated me to Brunch here at Salty's! I especially loved their Mac and Cheese and all their desserts were so good! Oh the Cookies and Scones! I don't eat much seafood but my friend finished two platefuls of crabs! And of course, the view, AMAZING

Salty's has a great view, especially if you are seated outside. We had reservations, showed up 20 minutes early after walking around the pier. Once in, we found out that they had lost our reservations. However they got us in since the place was not packed. Prepared to spend a fair amount of money for great fresh seafood. But the... More

A chauffeured limo picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the restaurant; perfect, since driving in Seattle is a challenge for some tourists. Salty's is across the water from downtown and the view of the Seattle skyline is spectacular. The food, service, and atmosphere are five star. Danny, our server, was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations.... More

Fun place to dine! Old school interior architecture … but cool ! A little noisy but expected. “Killer view” of both the Seattle City Skyline and Elliot’s Bay. Lots of water action (Commuter Ferries, Cargo Ships, Tug Boats, Kayakers, Paddle Boarders, etc) Food is ala carte, spendy but delicious. A cup of delicious clam chowder = $7.50. Grilled Halibut with... More

We often go here to celebrate our anniversary and this year was particularly great! We asked to be seated outside but it was TOO hot and they quickly accommodated us inside. I tried a new cocktail (something w/ cucumbers) and it was fresh and delicious. We had the cherry smoked salmon w/ asparagus and everything was perfectly cooked and so... More
