We just got home from lunch at Salty's, a "treat" courtesy of a long-time West Seattleite. I really wish she had used her money elsewhere, we waited for 20 minutes for our (reserved) table to be prepped, a nonntime reservation and the place was barely 1/4 full. The food, when it finally came, was tepid and uninspiring, at best. The... More

We went for the Sunday buffet brunch. We received a table at the window and the view was wonderful. The restaurant itself looked tired and old--I think it has seen better days. Now, the buffet brunch is not cheap. I believe it was $43 per person. Not outrageous, but not cheap either. I had hoped for an outstanding meal--and was... More

The Salty's offers weekend brunch with beautiful Seattle city view. From the typical breakfast eggs and omelets made to order. There are steamed crab legs, fresh oysters, shrimp cocktails, and much more. Great selection of dessert items too, like chocolate fountain, cakes, and assorted pastries. It was worth to enjoy the view with great food.

The Alki Beach Salty's location is a bit further to get to, but well worth the trip. We were seated outside on the lower patio and enjoyed fantastic fresh seafood delivered by a well trained wait staff. The view of Seattle's skyline at sunset is amazing.

The view is outstanding and the service is great but it is noisy and the food was disappointing. We love clam chowder and were excited to see that Salty's had a variety of seafood in theirs but when it arrived it tasted like a typical potato and cream soup that is served at many restaurants. Nothing special. All four of... More

How can a $50.00+ brunch (per person) be a bargain? Well, at Salty's (Alki Beach location) it is! Prime Rib, Eggs Benedict, Waffles, Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Ham. It's all there and very good (I had tiny bits of each) but that's not why I was there. I was there for the Pacific Northwest seafood. THE BEST FRESH-SHUCKED LOCAL OYSTERS (my... More

Salty's is well known for their view....incredible view that can't be beat! Last night we were there (we are locals and so eat their often) for their 3 courses for $30 for Restaurant week. The meal was fabulous! Chris, the manager, came by to check on us and went out of his way to make sure everything was just right.... More
