Salty's was recommended for its great view of the Seattle skyline and Elliott Bay. We had super weather for our April week visit. It was my birthday and I was given balloons and a birthday dessert (delicious cake!). Excellent seafood chowder and appetizers. Friendly service. More high end prices but a great place for special occasion meal.

My friend and I had a lovely dinner at Salty's during restaurant week. I think the regular menu is rather pricey but from what I tasted totally worth it! Start with the chowder for sure and work your way from there. Great wine list and you CAN'T beat the view of the sky line at night!!

Excellent food, but a little expensive for what you get. A 3oz serving of salmon with a 3oz piece of halibut for $50 seems a bit too much. Service is great and atmosphere/view can't be beat.

We recently had a Friday Night dinner at Salty's on Alki. The view from Salty's looks out over Elliott Bay towards the downtown skyline. On a beautiful day it is a hard view to beat and one can see ferries, boats, airplanes landing at nearby airports and the gorgeous skyline. We had booked in advance and were seated in a... More

This is our first visit to Salty's and it was a good one. The setup reminds me of so many seafood houses of yore looking over the bay and city skyline. Yes, the vista is remarkably impressive and beautiful, so as far as that goes there's little to complain about. The staff are attentive if a little rushed. We selected... More

Our daughter and her partner took us to Salty's for dinner on our visit to Seattle and Alki Beach. When we arrived, our daughter explained to the hostess that her parents were from out of town and could we have a table with a view. Wow! We got a front table with a view of downtown Seattle! The sun was... More

We recently dined at Salty's on Alki Beach during Sunday brunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the seafood. The selection was amazing -- freshly shucked oysters, steamed clams, crab legs and claws and so much more. The other main entrees were delicious too including the eggs benedict which surprisingly held up well in a... More

When we pulled up we were immediately awed by the view. We requested a table near the windows which allowed us to watch the sun shimmering off the water and buildings. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. The portions were just right. The Smoked Steelhead was excellent and the crab cake was very flavorful. Good beer selection, wine selection... More

The view of the Seattle skyline is second to none. That the food is also excellent is a bonus. Each staff member was genuinely friendly. The fixed price $30 menu offers an excellent value.

We love this brunch ! It's well worth the price . If you call ahead and go between 8:45-9:00am they give you a slight discount but more importantly you will head off the mass of people who rush in at about 10 am .
