Great Little Find in Alki

Phoenecia's is a trendy little eatery in Alki, in West Seattle. They have a tapa feel to some of their menu, small plates, but the portions to me were not small. They have a dish call spicy beef with mushrooms...so good!, I had a caprese salad and the special brick oven single pizza with fig... read more

Make a reservation because this is place is popular, and when you go there you will totally understand why. Whether you are getting tapas or you choose one of their special pizzas, it is all good!

The location is really great. The quality of the food is good and the staff is really nice. The prices are up there though (or portions are small). They based the menu of you having multiple small dishes (3-4 of avg $15 ea). Concept is nice but disnt work for us. Don't go if you're on a busget.

We went to dinner on a Thursday evening, 4 hungry adults with healthy appetites. We ordered a cross selection of small plates and salads, two specials to share (lamb shank and Mediterranean pasta), and finished with Turkish coffee and 4 different desserts. The idea was to mix and match/share everything. The staff was pleased to accommodate our idea, enthusiastic about... More

I like this place very much. Check the blackboards for best results. Wood Fired pizza is a star of the show but not the only great tasting treat. This is a place to go with a few people together so you can pick from a variety of plates. A bit romantic. It isn't terribly large but it is great food.

The food was very good, our table by the window overlooked the beach, and the wine list was both interesting and reasonable. We walked from the Water Taxi dock, an easy and very pleasant stroll. From the warm olive plate to salads and pizzas, wine, and good coffee, it was a most pleasant evening.

Following in Dad's footsteps, this family makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Excellent pizza. Amazing cheese platter. And you can't beat the view.

5 of us had Dinner at Phoenicia on Sat., June 15. 4 ordered pizza. I had marguerita personal pizza $12. Fullly 1/3 of pizza was thick outer crust. Tomato sauce was sparse; perhaps 6-8 tiny sliced grape tomatoes total; basil was thin sliced and barely noticable, and you wouldn't know there was mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Dough under the... Phoenecia is one of our regulars in West Seattle. The service at this family owned restaurant makes you feel like you're eating in their home dining room. With a beautiful view of alki, blackboard cafe feel, and delicious menu, this restaurant is perfect for a date night. Every time we come here we order the 39 spice beef and Prosciutto... More

This little jewel on the beach is a great place to go when you want a new experience. A small, family owned spot where the menu changes so frequently that they write it on a chalkboard. Great small plates and delectable pizzas. Get there early or wait for a table. It IS well worth the wait!
