Me and my boyfriend love the program Man Vs Food and before heading to Seattle we watched the episode where Adam took on challenges in the city, one of them - The Crab Pot. You order your seafood bucket, get a bib and the waiter comes over and tips the bucket of seafood onto your table then you dig in!... More

The Crab Pot is a touristy restaurant on Elliot Bay in Seattle. It was a little difficult to get there because of the construction project along Seattle's west side. Nevertheless, being in the mood for seafood, we made the effort. That effort was not well rewarded. As might be expected, there was a considerable wait for a table but we... More

I visited this place after seeing awesome photos on Pinterest and my expectations were exceeded. The seafood was phenomenal and the servings were extremely generous. Coming from Australia my expectations with seafood for quality and price have to match and they "hit it out of the park". Australia doesn't offer anything like the CrabPot and it is really unfortunate because... More

I suppose I brought this upon myself, buying a burger at a seafood place. Note to all: don't get the burger, or is less than substandard. BUT that's not to say I don't like so the food. My friend told me that the samon was very well cooked. I personally loved the clam chowder and the sourdough bread. If I... More

This is a hopping restaurant down on the water. At the time of my visit, the seawall reconstruction had closed almost every other restaurant in the area, though I believe this place is busy no matter what. The decor is casual, the service staff is very efficient and friendly, and the place was hopping. I had a crab bisque (very... More

We called in here for lunch after a trip on the big wheel. Getting on to the pier is difficult with all the works going on. Service was brilliant and the food was good too.

My wife and I visited the Crab Pot twice. First time, my wife and I were so please with the waiter and the crab & shrimp combination. The serving size with the red potatoes and corn were a good portion for two. My wife and I love it so much, we went back for a second visit before leaving Seattle... More

It's a cool place to visit in Seattle, especially with family and friends. Great spot on the water and close to Pike Place. Super close to the Ferris Wheel. Jump on that at night and enjoy a great view of the city. The crab is good but the crab cakes and clam chowder are better! Check it out for fun... More

Yes expensive and touristy! Brought my family because they love seafood and loved it. If you don't like seafood, like me, don't bother. There are much better seafood places in Seattle that do have other things on the menu for nonseafood eaters besides just a dry, tasteless burger and soggy fries.
