I was born and raised in Hong Kong till I was 16 years old, so I know my dim sum. I went here with a friend. It was my first dim sum experience in Seattle. Overall, great service with friendly staff. The steamed pork buns were pretty authentic. They got the bun part pretty well-done. The siu mai were huge... More

We used to have a different favorite place for dim sum, but they went downhill... So, in search of a new place and we found it. Harbor City is the best dim sum in Seattle. You go here for the excellent dim sum, not the atmosphere. It's small, so go early to avoid the crowds. The prices are reasonable and... More

...by the variety, quality, and rock bottom cost of the dim sum. Went for Sunday brunch with family, probably their busiest time. The wait for a table was about 30 minutes [something I rarely tolerate], but well worth it. If this is not the best dim sum in North America, it's pretty damn close [my bench mark being the pricy... Unbelievably good Dim Sum at this restaurant. Inexpensive, too! Their honey walnut prawns were to die for. Spicy green beans equally as good. Every single item eaten was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I will definitely be returning.

I used to eat at Harbor City years ago before they did Dim Sum and really liked the food. But there were so many other great places in China Town that I drifted away to other establishments, all great. I had a colleague who was married to a Chinese lady and spent a lot of time in China Town, when... More

its fast, tasty and not to expensive We went here because the line was a little smaller then across the street. I'm glad we did. Once we got in there were delsih hot Hum Bow and Shu Mai ... lots of shrimp options... not the biggest selection I've seen, but service was good and food was good. Go back

Being from Montana you want to eat "ethnic" when in the city. I love to get to the Internaional District and hit the dim sum places late in the morning. And during the week if possible to miss the crowds. This has become my favorite over the years. Often I'm the only gringo there and that is a good sign.... More

Been here a few times with friends and family. Last visit on a Tuesday, which is great, since there's no weekend crowd. Had lunch there - our group of 4 was easy enough to fit in. The standard fare of 'har gao', 'siew mai', 'fun cheong' was as expected,....very fresh and tasty, without too much salt. There's soy sauce and... More

You may wonder about the withheld fifth star. Objectively speaking, I know that decor and ambience are important for some people and certain occasions. This place is all well-tended formica and vinyl, and good clean tile floors. It's a happy, rowdy place (rowdy as in big groups of diners having a fun time, not drunk-rowdy; no bar). That said, it's... More

You know your at the right place for authentic Chinese food when your the only cracker there. We had great food and service. The real deal for Dim Sum at very reasonable prices. I suspect it helps when your wife speaks Cantonese. Non descript exterior open and busy inside with flavor packed goodies. We'll be back!
