We stopped for a late lunch and were very pleased we did. We sat outside in the sun and it was charming - sitting opposite the water. Fabulous chowder - hot, spicy and very filling. I understand that the chowder is the main attraction in this restaurant and I can see why! Great scallops, hot and crunchy fries, good chilled... More

This is my favorite Dukes location, even though parking can be a challenge. The weathervane scallops, Mexican spotted prawns and Alaskan salmon and beef filet with an outstanding demi-glace. A dinner that was outstanding in everyway. The highest rating I have ever given Dukes... and well deserved!

We were brought here by a friend who lives in West Seattle while in town for business. Don't be fooled by the humble decor, they have some seriously good service and great food. We started with the salmon sliders, which may have been the best thing we ate. My wife and I shared the Silky Pan Seared Salmon; first, they... More

My husband and I were visiting Alki beach and we ate here with our 15 month old son for lunch. They have a great view from their patio! I was expecting it to be very touristy and have not so good food. But I was pleasantly surprised! The food was very tasty and unique. Not your typical fried beach seafood... More

Awesome lunch location and excellent food. Dukes spares no expense in quality ingredient's for their clam chowder. The sandwiches and salads are a little on the spendy side but very good in both taste, freshness and quality. Fun setting too!

located on Alki beach, there is a nice view of North Seattle from the restaurant . The clam chowder is some of the best we have ever had but pricey ($16 a bowl). So if you are not willing to pay the price, I suggest you go elsewhere. They do have happy hour from 3-6 during the week so that... More

It is said that Duke himself inspects the fish in Alaska before it is shipped. The fish is fresh and the desserts were excellent. They were short servers the night I went but I can only assume some called off because it was a truly rare gorgeous day in September in Seattle.

This is our favorite place to eat in the Seattle area. Located across the harbor in West Seattle, you can get here by bridge or by water taxi (cheap). The food is better than average sports bar food. Prices are low to mid $20 per plate. There is out door seating upstairs and it's worth waiting for. you have a... More

We stopped in here for an impromptu lunch, was very busy and sat at the bar. Pleasant atmosphere, good service, the chowder was wonderful. Had chowder several times at various places during our Seattle visit, this was by far the best!

The food and service were outstanding. The menu is wide and varied, as are the cocktails and local brews. It has both inside and outdoor areas. A great place to grab a quick meal
