nice gluten free option

Their chowder is gluten free and very good. Reasonably priced, good service, nice outdoor patio and good burgers.

So glad we chose Duke's for our last night out in Seattle! I had the stuffed Halibut and hubby had the Parmesan Halibut...both were awesome! The sauce with the stuffed halibut was creamy deliciousness that perfectly complimented the delicate flavors of crab and halibut. The accompanying asparagus and red potatoes were the perfect sides. Definitely will be back if we... More

Visited the Duke's Chowder House a couple times in April 2015 and really enjoyed the food. The Chowders are really good and they have pretty good fares overall. The crab cakes are pretty good as well but the claim that they have way more crab than breading compared to others is slightly exaggerated :) Great experience with a great staff... More

There are so many good things to say about the food, from the dinghy of chowders, so you can have all the different kinds to how the halibut just melts in your mouth

Dukes has always had good food and drink...but the beer and the wine dinners are the best food the restaurant has put out, in my opinion. The chef always finds a creative and tasty pairing with the drink in each course. If you have not attended one of these, it is highly recommended to attend the drink of your choice... More

My husband accompanied me on a business trip to the area. After I worked all day he suggested that we go to West Seattle and have a nice relaxing dinner at Duke's restaurant. It had been recommended by a friend that lives in the area. I was so excited when we arrived that we were sat by the windows and... More

Always the very first place I go to eat once I arrive in Seattle, Dukes is a lot of fun, has great staff who do all they can to make your night special, and some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Don't leave without trying the Chowder. They also cater to those in our party who need Gluten... More

Place is very casual, yet killer views right across from the beach. A little bit of So Cal feel in Seattle. Decent menu. Prices are a bit high, but its a nice date night or brunch kind of place.

Great location just across from the beach. Nice casual atmosphere. Service was good and food was tasty. I had the chowder sampler, and all 3 were delicious! Minor gripe: they served our chowder and our main courses at the same time, which I thought was kind of strange. Another minor gripe: they were not serving outside, even though it was... More

If you are looking for a great view, a beach to walk on afterwards and some damn good chowder - search no more. I LOVE their clam chowder - (forget Ivars, go HERE!), and you even can have a 'chowder taster' of the several they offer. Happy Hour just flippin amazing sliders, RECOMMEND! Spicey Bloody Mary - but just beautifully... More
