The food and service were outstanding. The menu is wide and varied, as are the cocktails and local brews. It has both inside and outdoor areas. A great place to grab a quick meal

On a hot summer day we went into Duke's after riding bicycles up and down the beach. The restaurant was cool and the service friendly. The waiter took our 5-year old grandson's order of "applesauce, catsup, and french fries" as if he had been an adult. The rockfish tacos are very good. We liked Duke's and will go back when... More

The food was excellent, our waitress was great and watching the sunset over the water? Perfection! They even give out the recipe with the chowder (which was heavenly). We sat outside upstairs and when it got chilly, they turned on their heaters. We also had some yummy (though slightly pricy) drinks. Seriously, just writing this and now I'm craving their... More

Thank heaven for the Happy Hour menu. Even at the reduced prices, the bar menu made the visit more affordable. The regular menu prices are above average. The food and refreshments are always good and the service is above average.

Spent the afternoon at the West Seattle Summer Fest then headed down to the waterfront. Walked along the beach enjoying the sunny day and uncommon warmth and ended up at Duke's Chowder House. Headed upstairs to the outdoor seating overlooking the water and street. Amazing view, fun people watching, and incredible food! The service was Exceptional to say the least... More

Had a great lunch here following a walk on Alki beach. The fish meal that we had was great and the beer I had was excellent. Seating both inside, outside and on balcony all had good views of the beach.

I have mixed feelings about this place...for starters, the location is awesome, upper patio is great. Food was very good, my wife didn't enjoy her fish and chips but I liked the light batter. My fish tacos were perhaps a little on the bland side but enjoyable. Now the down... Service. Our waiter was very forgetful. He came back to... More

We were looking for a great last night dinner in Seattle and considered a number of restaurants. After dropping in on an afternoon walk and checking out the menu we decided on Dukes'. We were very pleased when we arrived and the promised table was waiting for us. We were greeted and welcomed by the staff. Our waiter was great... More

We have dined at Dukes many times over the years. Our main draw is their delicious chowder, which is second to none. Their seafood is always fresh and artfully prepared. Last night, the menu was new and had several innovative choices. I had the Raspberry Halibut, a delectable fish served with a fresh raspberry sauce that was amazing. We had... More
