I've lived near and dined at Chinook's for over 18 years and I have to say the food is consistently good. They specialize in seafood but they do have a few non-seafood choices on their menu. I have so many "favorites" on their menu - the fresh grilled Idaho trout, the seafood fettucine, the crab and shrimp salad, the cioppino,... More

I've been eating here for many years and continue to be amazed at how consistent this place remains.Great food. Attentive service. Reasonably priced. You can even make a meal out of the happy hour menu. Every member of the staff is great and Patrick the bartender is a standout. It can be very noisy but what else is new in... More

Great rustic boat dock view of random fishing boats.. Food was great, awesome oysters, and samon tacos. Very pleasant staff, great soup. Server was quick to find answers that she did not know... Great lunch...

We were in Seattle to visit some family and the first night in town we went to Chinooks. The food overall was pretty good, I had the mahi mahi tacos and the bleu cheese/romaine salad. The dressing was overly mayonnaisey, not enough bleu cheese flavor. The fish in tacos was cooked perfectly but they could stand to put a bit... More

Prior to an evening at McCaw Hall for the Nutcracker, I was treated to an early dinner at Chinook's. It's been years since we had been here and I had completely forgotten what they were like. The restaurant was not overly business on Sunday around 4 and we were seated immediately, overlooking the bay. I thoroughly enjoyed the teriyaki King... More

This is the second time eating here(last yr. Jan) I had the shrimp-crab fettuccine and it was delicious. The food is always good and looking out at the boats is very relaxing but the biggest plus is the service. I've been a server for 35 years and find that customer service is getting harder and harder to find but not... More

My favorite seafood restaurant in the Seattle area. Located at the Fisherman's Terminal with a fresh seafood outlet right next door. Great food served by an excellent floor staff.

Good reliable food, espec good halibut fish and chips. Large menu. Good for breakfast. Great setting overlooking water and boats. Big restaurant so good chance of getting table. Near Ballard, where you could visit the Hiram Locks and Shilshole Bay (with awesome view of Puget Sound and Olympic Mtns).

This is a favorite of our to take your out of town guests or just to go get some great fish & chips, chowder and a beer. Fun to sit and look out over the fishing port and watch the activity. It's a little loud but there's lots of room and we've always enjoy our meals here.

Prawn night, all you can eat is the way to go. It is there until November 8th. When they say all you can eat they mean it. When we go, only get AJ as a server he makes sure you are extremly well taken care of, food kept coming without having to ask. When I am in town, I hit... More
