Fresh seafood

Located right at Fisherman's Terminal, this was an excellent choice for a late lunch. I ordered the Alaskan cod fish and chips and a cup of chowder (white). I eat chowder all over the country and I can honestly say this was by far the BEST I have ever had. The fish was plentiful and fresh and... read more

We arrived early before the dinner crowd. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. When he suggested the crab cakes we said sure. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUS! The very best I ever had. Of course we went with his dinner suggestion. Loved the salmon pot pie. We both cleaned our plates. Then Oliver, our waiter started telling us about dessert.... More

As part of the Anthony's chain of restaurants, Chinooks hold a special place. It is more of a casual dining spot, right adjacent to the terminal where the fishing fleet and other ships dock when in Seattle. You can walk along the main dock and stop to see and read the Fisherman's Memorial right on the dock. Alas, it has... More

Always fresh and delicious fish at this waterfront restaurant, with wonderful view of commercial and private fishing boats. A variety of ocean, lake, and river fish makes it easy to return often. Service is friendly and helpful. Certainly one of the--if not the best--fish restaurants in the area.

A cavernous facility which we've discovered is quite common in the States for waterfront seafood dining, results in the atmosphere being heavy on the "family group" side of the equation but, once you get past the din and the (perhaps) off-putting sea of heads, the service was prompt and professional and (surprisingly?) knowledgable and the food fresh. Presentation was a... More

We (6 adults plus a baby) visited Chinooks today for lunch. For the 4 of us from the UK (and Baby) it was our first time. The location, view and atmosphere hits you as you walk in. The menu was varied and there was something for everyone. The service - Polite, efficient and friendly. The food was excellent ! Would... More

Chinook's is a good seafood restaurant with reasonable prices in the Salmon Bay harbor area. The dinning room and bar are oriented towards the harbor which gives a great view of the boats and fishing vessels docked there. The seafood is fresh and there is a good selection. Definitely worth a visit.

Hands down the BEST Halibut and fries (fish & chips) I have ever tasted! The breading is very light and doesn't weigh heavy in your stomach after eating it. If you are not starving it is enough to split with a friend. Tasty coleslaw comes with it. I think it was $14.95 and worth every cent! Perfect tarter sauce. I'd... More

The view is simply stunning, one of the vest views wharf views I've ever seen. Great to just sit at the bar and watch the goings on outside. The food was also pretty good and the service was pretty good too. Recommend their blue plate special, seemed to always bee a good fresh catch.

I joined an old friend here for a week night meal. Service was perfect, food just great, but what I really liked was sitting by the big windows with a view of the small and medium sized commercial fishing boats my pal said was the Alaska salmon fleet. It's a large place with updated decor, ideal for a large party.... More
