Outdoor dining option-great service

Friendly staff, loved sitting in the outdoor dining. The French Onion soup is delicious as are the mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, and Asian salad. They will even prepare food for take-out, which was handy on the second visit.

Enjoyed a evening at the Elephant & Castle with other members of the British Chamber of commerce service was good and they gave us a nice location to meet in.I have been many times before and have never had any problems with service or food and drink and it is a great place for dinner or just a drink after... Not too crowded for a Thursday, summer night. Slow service. Slow to get a beer, slow to get our appetizer, got part of our entrees wrong, slow to get those entrees. As for the taste - pretzel appetizer was very good, fish and chips were okay, the grilled salmon was good, and the summer salad with salmon was okay (too... More

This Elephant and Castle is located in the same building as our hotel so we stopped in for happy hour. The drinks were average, nothing special. We had a chipotle spinach dip that was very tasty so we stayed for dinner. Yorkshire Pudding was average but my wife liked her Chicken Pot Pie. The wait staff was pleasant and the... More

Had a great experience at Elephant & Castle. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I didn't venture passed the burger, but I love burgers. The service was good, and they had a pretty good selection of drinks.

My friend and I were staying at the Motif hotel above this restaurant. We decided to stop in and have desert one night. They had bread pudding with caramel sauce that was to die for. Looks like a good p[lace to hang out with friends and have a drink too.

Supposed to look like an English pub, and to be fair they've done a pretty good job. Warm and friendly bar staff. Decent selection of beers and a good pub grub menu. Can definitely recommend the poutine, I know it's not British but forget that and order the traditional, you will not be disappointed. Chips, gravy and cheese!!! Winner, winner,... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. The food was good, but a little over cooked. I would still eat here again, as the prices were decent and the atmosphere was great. The poutine fries were lacking in the cheese curds and gravy category, and the chicken in the wrap was overcooked, but the hamburger was tasty. Overall, it was... More

We had car trouble, so we got there when they were serving their light night menu of appetizers. I picked up the mini yorkies with beef and gravy, and took them up to the room. They were enough for the two of us, but folks with bigger appetites might need 2 appetizers as a late night meal after basketball game... More
