We attended a banquet for around 300 guests. The dishes were pretty basic with small portions for everyone. The food came out very slowly and caused the dinner to feel more like a series of appetizers rather than a meal. The stage and PA system worked well. Parking was a hassle because of their very small parking lot.

Always a favorite for dim sum! May not be the best in reviews but I would have to disagree, House of Hong does itself proud. The food came out hot with a good variety. Very attentive staff, all with great attitude and friendly service. The parking attendant is a favorite! Always greats you with a smile, handshake and a great... More

I liked the clean tablecloths, good food and efficient staff. But their prices are a little higher than better dim sum selection down the street.

I was a little disappointed with the Sunday dim sum here. I mean, the food was ok, but I was expecting a little better since it was so busy. It was all a little greasy. The service was very good though. Fast and thorough. If you are in a hurry and want a quick, lunch that isn't too bad, this... More

Try this on a Saturday afternoon instead of a Sunday if you want a seat. It gets very busy because it's popular and delicious! Besides the dim sum, you can also order off the regular menu. Very, very good food. My favorites are the shrimp toast, baked BBQ hombow, and the chowmein. Enjoy!

I have eaten here for about 15 years and the new owners have vamped up this place - the tastiness of the food has improved (and the price has increased!). The parking lot attendant is great - he always lands a great parking spot for me. Food: the congee is excellent, with just enough preserved duck eggs to make me... More

Had dim sum lunch there on a visit, and while it was okay, it wasn't what I would have expected from a restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown. Not so authentic, especially considering where it is, and I didn't see a lot of Asian customers there. Certainly tasty, though, and the service was very friendly and accommodating. If you're not ready to... More

I was having trouble finding restaurant that fits my taste, then I heard about this restaurant. The dimsum was great, taste like home at reasonable price. I went there a couple times with my husband and we both happy with the food, take a strool after that to Uwajimaya

Ended up here when we found a beloved restaurant called Made in Kitchen was closed. The service was beyond awful and the food was just glop. So now we refer to it as the Horrible House of Hong. Do not go there. See Nancy Leson's column for good recommendations in Seattle's International District.

I use to love this restaurant but service has gone downhill since I lived here. The dim sum was just so so but what struck me the most was the unfriendly service from both the hostess and the servers. I will never come here again ... even if I'm starving and dying.
