While visiting Seattle, my lovely aunt took me to Ivar's for seafood and views :-) We had a wonderful server who recommended the berry salad with vanilla dressing - it was amazing! I had the fish tacos which were yummy and perfectly spiced. Next time I visit, I'm starting with one of their signature cocktails ;-) Overall, a great experience.

Great clams and bread bowls are staples at Ivar's which is great on the waterfront of any of the other locations throughout the city.

Everyone I talked to said to go to Ivar's in Seattle. We were there for a cruise and spent 3 days in Seattle. We went here and they seated us in very nice water front seats. I was told the clam chowder was great. I was a little shocked at the prices. I got the Chowder and fish and chips.... More

I/we have attempted to eat our way through their Clam Menu over a short period of time. Always excellent food and good service.

What's the big deal? ate from takeout window and @ the dick side. Average at best, good view, lots of seagull scavengers. Maybe the restaurant is better?

I've enjoyed Ivar's restaurants many times in recent years, but it's been over 30 years since experiencing Ivar's Sunday Brunch. FREE parking sponsored by downtown waterfront restaurants for Mother's Day set a happy mood for the meal at Ivar's Pier 54. Without a reservation we were seated immediately in this large Elliott Bay waterfront restaurant. Busy, but not completely filled,... More

I waited for a table by the window, which is always worth it to me. The waiter was a little odd, but attentive. For dinner I had fish, which was good, but I expected better. All in all it was a nice evening.

My friends and I were in Seattle strolling through Pike's Place Market and I remembered hearing that the original Ivar's had good seafood. So we decided to do lunch there. Our service was very prompt and we requested a table by the window. The hostess granted our request. Our waitress was very pleasant and chatted with us about things to... More

Great views from our table of the harbor and ferry. Waitress was very helpful, and our food was good (crab cakes and salad). Noisy atmosphere, but not too hard to get a table on a Friday evening.

My husband, a friend and I were in Seattle for a business trip. On our second night we had time to go see the sights and try some local foods. We were looking where to eat for about two hours while walking the area by Ivar's. There bar outside caught our eye with what they had to offer so we... More
