Fun dinner with lots of time to visit

Fun dinner with family and friends Kind of expensive for dinner but a fun venue that allows time for visiting. We had 2 different cheese fondues, dinner, and dessert. Our waitress was new but did a great job

We have a family tradition of fondue on Christmas Eve so never before have we eaten it in a restaurant. The only truly negative comment I have is in reference to the review I read (I don't remember where though) that called it romantic....not so much. However the service was good (we were well cared for by Edgar and the... More

Overall it was ok, all the meat tasted the same after dipping. We had the appetizer cheese course with cheddar cheese that was good. My wife loved the apple bits in cheese. Fondue for the main course was okay but the different meats tasted the same. Dark chocolate fondue for dessert was good and asked for more fruit and less... More

We went to celebrate a family birthday which has been somewhat of a tradition over the last few years. Saturday night but not busy as it was Seafair weekend. Lengthy wait after seated for initial service (beverages) then to order our entree. Waiter admitted he was "overwhelmed" that evening and upon ordering and mentioning we would be using a Groupon... We went to The Melting Pot for a cheddar cheese appetizer and drinks prior to going to a concert at the Key Arena. I love that this restaurant is within walking distance of the Key Arena. I requested more vegetables and fruit (rather than bread) because of my gluten sensitivity. Our server was very kind and provided excellent service. The... More

We had the appetizer cheese course with cheddar cheese and it was wonderful. I loved the apple bits in cheese. Fondue for the main course was okay but really all the various meat comes out tasting the same. Dark chocolate fondue for dessert was great but I would ask for more fruit and less cake and marshmallows.

We haven't been to the Melting Pot in a very long time, and one evening had a hankering from some ooey gooey cheese. So, we went to the Melting Pot on a whim. They were very accommodating with our unscheduled "out of the blue" arrival. Our waiter was amazing and had great suggestions of pairings. Overall, it was an excellent... More

I have tried many types of fondues there and in my opinion, the bests are alpine cheese and pure milk chocolate!!! the service is very good, they are not a fast food, so go with time. They will prepare the meal at your table. Very good and yummy!

If you've never been, you should know before you go that there is one pot for the whole table, so the table has to agree on certain things, such as what kind of cheese, what kind of sauce and what kind of dessert. Everyone can then pick their own kind of meal. It's a great place to talk and get... More

We did an endless fondue deal (Granted it wasnt, only endless entrees) we didnt get to pick what was in the entree, which half of it, we really didnt eat. And after we asked for another round of the meat we did eat and another bowl of vegetables, our broth evaporated from waiting so long and all the bits and... More
