We did the outside take away from the walk up station. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The meal is much less expensive than the sit down and waited upon meal inside. We took our food to the dock in front of the Salmon House to eat on a nice sunny! January day. We sat and watched the boats... More

Made a Sunday night reservation for Ivar's Salmon House as the last couple of times we walked up only to find full. Asked for and received a window table with a beautiful western view of Lake Union with Queen Ann hill and the space needle in the background. The server was very attentive and enthusiastic. The menu had a nice... More

If you are looking for the best FISHnCHIPS in Seattle....then you've come to the best spot. This place is just like the one in Mukilteo. Hot location and it has the outside pickup spot and a much bigger INSIDE dining. Inside Dining is where you get more goods....i've done both. But when i'm on my way home from seattle and... More

Went Here for lunch because we wanted something local to the Northwest. The waterfront view of Lake Washington was nice with different types of waterfowl and boats. The service was decent and my Alaskan wild salmon with Brussel Sprouts was delicious. The razor clams that my colleague ordered also looked delicious. Good restaurant

I have been coming to the Salmon House for over 30 years. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, a friendly staff, good food, and fantastic views. It is winter now, so I did not sit outside this visit, but sitting my the ship channel on Lake Union in the summer is a great experience you will always remember. I have... More

My son picked this restaurant out and I'm so glad he did! We arrived rather early for dinner and scored a table right by the windows--looking out on the water. The service was attentive but not invasive. The menu was so interesting it took me a long time before I could decide--but I think that pretty much anything would have... More

The have finished the interior remodel since our last visit - the location is to die for, and their food is all good - the alder smokes salmon varieties are without peer. This is a high quality restaurant with many food selections that is definitely worth the visit!!

We've been coming here for years but our most recent visit was for their New Year's Eve party/buffet. I know, when you hear "buffet" and "New Year's Eve" in the same breath you almost always think of "slop on a table" but this restaurant knows how to put on an appropriate (and substantial) spread and even toss in some booze... The price was good and the food too. The only problem was to find a parking space. I liked the crabs a lot and only had only tried one piece of the roast beef. The beef itself was not bad too. I will definitely go there again the next time when I am in town

I love kayaking around Lake Union and eating lunch at this place in the summer. There is an access beach right next door where you can leave your boats and order from the takeout window. My husband and I love the salmon and chips!
