Palace Kitchen is situated not too far away from a large mall and small shops. The windows were open to let in the fresh air and see the street. The lighting was low and romantic. We ordered the dahlia bakery bread as an appetizer which comes with a delicious balsamic sauce. For dinner, I ordered the spring lamb shoulder with... More

Loved all the dishes, interesting and yet not pretentious. Great evening with friends! Service was lovely too! Absolutely awesome happy hour.

Ordered very hesitantly an appetizer with seared scallops and roasted green grapes. OMG it was amazing we went back the next night for dinner.

The buckwheat crepes were delicious and unlike any dish I've had. Overall it appeared to be a very creative menu with lots of unique options. But at the same time there were still some good staple dishes. The wait staff was always there when we needed them and provided helpful descriptions of menu items. I had an excellent dessert drink... Great quality food, fabulous chicken wings in particular!... Really enjoyed the craft beers on tap, as well, and the atmosphere of the place. Open kitchen onto the dining area, which is laid out around the bar, all very lively, good music, really good buzz to the place. There can be a bit of a wait if you haven't booked, but... More

How good could a restaurant named "Palace Kitchen" be, I wondered? But other reviews raved about the food, so my cousin and I tried it - and loved both the food and the excellent service we got from our server.

Started at the bar with a couple cocktails. Famous triple coconut cream pie as my starter. Um, yummy. Must try for any coconut pie lover. Then melt in my mouth halibut for main course. Perfect girls night and easy walk from downtown.

We went on a Saturday around 8pm. There was no lineup and we were shown to a table right away. We decided to order off the first course / appetizer menu and were happy with that decision. Our waitress seemed a bit detatched which was a bit of a turnoff. The vibe of the restaurant was lively but no so... More

Have eaten at most Tom Douglas restaurants and frankly I don't get what all the fuss is about. The employees are generally top notch; unfortunately the food is mediocre at best and over priced for what is delivered on the plate.
