Dropped in for dinner on a blustery Saturday night. We were a bit concerned about having to wait as they only take reservations for parties of 6 or more. Pleasantly surprised when we were seated immediately. The menu offerings were all tempting but the appetizers were too interesting to pass up so we selected several to share for our meal.... More

Nice place, but the food was a little unusual. If you go after 10pm there is a frito pie that sounded heavenly.

I loved the friendly welcome, rapid seating, and quick service. I'll be coming back for the good stout and interesting, but fulfilling entree choices. I'm looking forward to bringing my family around next time.

I was in Seattle for business and literally walked a few blocks until I found this place. From the second I walked in, I loved the ambiance. I sat at the bar where I had a cocktail accompanied by pistachios at the bar - the small things definitely noticed :) I ordered a pork chop that had to be one... More

I was in Seattle with some friends for a relay race (hood to coast) and we had an extra day after the race before we went home so we stopped in for a bit to eat. The restaurant had a great feel to it (bar in the middle, tables around the perimeter). The meal choices were unusual but very good.... More

Imagine this scenario: Adorable waitress taking the order of a couple who've decided to enjoy dinner before the show (Chorus Line which was playing at the 5th Ave Theater just down the street). "We'll have a bottle of Merlot" notes the gentleman with a soft accent. He cleans up like a GQ Model. "I'll ave the Burger please" he adds.... More

Another Douglas restaurant that is branded to " be epicurean" but is a mere knockoff of better food at the corner dive. I am amazed at the quality of the meals, a Caprese with mozzeralla ,not fresh and heirloom tomatoes merely good old and no variety. I think value is misguided. The wait staff is engineered to push product.

Excellent atmosphere, very relaxed and trendy. Patio-like seating near windows. Wood burning stove smells amazing from the streets and even better inside. Had the mussels to start, they were very good but almost 1/3 of the mussels had not opened so we were not able to eat them. Ordered the Polenta Crepes and they blew my mind! Visted again the... More
