Great Service

We arrived at a busy time after the supper rush, but got a table after a few minutes. Food was great, and service was attentive and good suggestions offered.

A friend and I visited the Palace later one evening post-conferencing in the city in the search for good dinner, good dessert, and good drinks. The Palace Kitchen mostly satisfied, although their bartender/server (we sat at the bar) needs to drop the "gym-bro" attitude which took away from the otherwise delicious food. After a long day of conference seminars, a... More

This meal was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Everything was fresh and unique and I loved every thing we tried....especially the lavender goat cheese fondue and the roasted chicken (the small plate raviolis are to die for as well!). We were able to walk here from our hotel and it is in a great location downtown.... More

This is the Tom Douglas Original restaurant----check out the Palace Kitchen Mural! A very inviting ambience--- We enjoyed the goat cheese-lavender fondue with wood grilled bread and apple-----warm marinated beets with stilton, watercress, almond relish-----and house-cut pommes frites. All being outstanding. They feature a late night "Curry Corner" that We would love to try next visit. And another visit is for... More

It was the night of St. Patty's Day, and we suddenly realized that we were hungry. Oh no! What to do? The problem was it seems like most of Seattle's restaurants and bars stop serving food around 10, which is horribly early, especially on a night like that. But there was no reason to fear, we found this gem of... More

Amazing Halibut and Burgers! Got on the list with not too long a wait - just enough time for a cocktail.

I went there in a late March Saturday night, did not need to make reservation, got a window seat after 5 mins wait in the bar. The waiter is very nice, helped us cut the Trout, very friendly experience, as for food, i love the entree pig tail, very crispy and the fat is not fatty at all, it melted... More

In Seattle, it can seem like all of the restaurants close at 6 p.m., maybe 8. But Palace actually adds to their menu at 10 p.m. I had the whole trout which was tasty. Lots of great choices for drinks. Waitress was very nice.

I love everything about this place, with one exception. Gorgeous interiors, friendly professional service, and beautifully prepared food. The grilled cod fillet with potato chowder was exceptional, as was pork with sausage and root vegetables. We loved the rubarb basque cake for desert. Very solid wine and cocktail list. My single complaint: consider changing the music! The sumptuous candlelit ambiance... More
