Description: Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.

We had a quick meal and a pint. Service was prompt. We sat downstairs as we entered off the alley and not 1st ave. Food was good. Hard to go too terribly wrong with Irish Stew and Shepard's pie. Atmosphere was buzzy, which I like. It was a Friday evening so there we some office workers letting off some steam... More

It was New Year's Eve but then have more staff on.. the waiter, when we saw him, was pleasant enough but hardly around. He did recommend the lamb and it was DEElicious!! My husband had the Country Chicken and it was good too. I had a nice Proseco, he had Chardonnay; both good. It is an Irish Bar, started out... More

My husband and I dropped in last night unexpectedly. The service and food was wonderful; our server was so sweet and very attentive. I had the shepherds pie and he had a delicious fish/scallop dish. Dark, authentic Irish bar/pub section with the warm and inviting restaurant on the other side. The owner, Ethna, came to our table to say hi,... More

We visit Kell's every time we visit Seattle. The food is always good, tonight I had the bacon wrapped scallops and my husband had the halibut - both excellent. His Guinness was great, I had a hot chocolate which was also good. As always the service was friendly & helpful.

We arrived in Seattle late Sunday night after a game. The pub was busy, so we chose the restaurant, as we were mostly seeking a meal. Our server was attentive and prompt, seated us and listed off the specials. My husband and I both ordered a pint of Guinness and the special of bacon wrapped scallops. The scallops were delicious... Went for lunch and a drink with a few friends. The lunch special was reasonably priced and delicious! We all got the Danny Boy which is corned beef and cabbage with a side or mashed potatoes and gravy. Add some mustard and horseradish and you're in heaven! Furthermore, the Guiness is poured beautifully and the atmosphere is just right. I... More

Friends and I always try and make time for Kell's when we are in Seattle. The service is always friendly, staff upbeat, and the food is very good. Haven't heard the ghosts that are supposed to hang out there but we are always hoping for next time. Bottom line, great spot to hang out and eat and drink.

Went there with a group of co-workers and we ordered the entire Happy Hour half-price appetizer menu... everything was delicious. Portions were decent for the price. The beer was cold, service was steady and friendly, and the atmosphere was spot on for an Irish Pub. Great place to get a drink and a bite to eat, and even though they... More

We sampled and drank copious amounts of fabulous single malts. Best selection in the city. Food was great too, but I hardly remember what we ate.
