good food, poor service

Only one vegetarian option but it was delicious – the vegetable pasty. It is appetizer size, I don’t know why they don’t make it an entrée. The other food was also very good. We sat outside with very good people watching and since it is in an alley there is no traffic. The only downside is that the... read more

Kells sucks. Servers walked past us regularly without checking in...even when we were waving and saying "excuse me!". In fact, two walked by at the same time and high-fived as they passed each other. The food was mediocre (smallest shepherd's pie ever) and even though their live music really tempts me, I will not be returning...ever. Plus: They have Magners... More

The seafood pasty was delicious, but the shepherd's pie was dry & the steak & kidney pie was so-so. Plus menu description of Danny Boy Special was wrong (said fresh roast & creamed potatoes, it was corned beef & cabbage )

Had dinner with family as a result of a recommendation by my sister's friend. Our server "Michael" was great. She had a cheeky personality which kept us entertained throughout dinner. The seafood pasties were very tasty. My sister had the shepherds pie which she enjoyed. My son had a shrimp and crab salad which he devoured. The chocolate mousse was... More

I stopped in for a drink recently one afternoon and I was impressed with the whisky menu. Very extensive collection of Scotch and Irish Whisky. I didn't see any bourbon on the list though. I would definitely go back.

My husband said it was a good pub. Tried their wrapped sausage it was good but very small for $8. My son had a grilled cheese and my husband had a sandwich which was also good. The place looked popular with the locals. Tried it once but I don't have to come back. Service was ok, though our server seemed... More

My wife and I came here for drinks about 7 years ago and had a wonderful time. The woman who waited on us was extremely friendly. They had a wide variety of whiskeys and beers. Great ambience. Tonight (July 2) we returned, eager to repeat our experience from years ago. We were told to seat ourselves, so we took the... More
