Description: Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.

Stopped into this Irish bar near Pike Place Market in order to watch a World Cup match. The servers all seemed to sport Irish accents, and the food was Irish-influenced. The Salmon and beet salad plate was delicious.

Great Irish bar on one side & restaurant on the other. They had 100+ whiskies behind the bar. My husband was in heaven. They had Smithwick's & Guinness on tap. We spent several hours there & had a reasonable bill. Bought a great sweatshirt there too. This is a must go place!

We found this little place on Post Alley just when we needed a bite. It isn't the best Irish pub I've ever been to, but they have Guinness and it's cold. Service was good, and the food was good enough.

Owner was very nice , but bartender hadn't a clue about how to pour a drink. Poor fella. Place looked a little dingy. Im sure it was great in its day, but the even the Kells beer was stale.

Nice respite after walking the market. We sat outside and enjoyed the beer, a bite to eat and the people watching.

I am not a scotch drinker, but there were many to choose from. I tried the pear ale and it was so very good. We had heard about the bar during our Haunted Tour of Pike Place Market and had to see for ourselves. No ghosts that night, but the atmosphere and the drinks were good.

This is always a nice place to stop and catch your breath when doing all of the obligatory touristy things in Post Alley. They have good beer and good food and often live music.

Great place to stop by for break after exploring Pike Place. It has a great atmosphere and good food. I recall the beer selection being a little limited, but they had their own amber brew that wasn't too bad. All in all a great stop while you're exploring.
