Description: Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.

We love Kells! The whiskey, the environment, the location! Amazing! We love Kells! Best Irish pub in Seattle! The bartender is extremely knowledgeable about Irish fare.. They have very tasty food, beer, and whiskey. And great service! We will continue to support them!

This review is for the restaurant part. Come to this place not expecting much, as an experience. Came with my wife after our friends recommendation. Food was fantastic: ordered seafood pasties and stew. Server's name was Mckenzie. She was fantastic - friendly without falseness, quick and attentive. A+! We liked it a lot and decided to come back. We were looking for a spot to get a bit to eat near pike place market on a very hot August Saturday. This place which is 1/2 block up Stewart fit the bill. Cool and empty in the mid afternoon my husband and I had delicious sandwiches. The atmosphere is perfect for a local Irish pub. The service was quick.... More

Exceptional atmosphere. Bar service is slow as there seems to only ever be one barman but the crowd are always great fun and I make sure I return every time I am in Seattle.

Kell's is located just off Pike Place, but very close. Sitting outside is good for people-watching. Good beer selection. Shepherd's Pie was mediocre...pretty dry.

A proper rustic Irish pub, owned by a long-time Irish lady resident in Seattle. Authentic Irish dishes and beers, clean but traditionally aged panelling etc but none the worse for that. They have some Irish waiters. They don't hurry you to order and are quire happy to amber across to check on you over a good period of time with... More

So, we had heard that Kell's was a "pretty good" Irish pub. That was not our experience. Our food was mediocre in flavor and we both felt sick after eating there. We will not return.

Stopped into this Irish bar near Pike Place Market in order to watch a World Cup match. The servers all seemed to sport Irish accents, and the food was Irish-influenced. The Salmon and beet salad plate was delicious.

Great Irish bar on one side & restaurant on the other. They had 100+ whiskies behind the bar. My husband was in heaven. They had Smithwick's & Guinness on tap. We spent several hours there & had a reasonable bill. Bought a great sweatshirt there too. This is a must go place!

We found this little place on Post Alley just when we needed a bite. It isn't the best Irish pub I've ever been to, but they have Guinness and it's cold. Service was good, and the food was good enough.
