The owner was very sweet and hospitable. The food was OK though. The lamb slices (Sharhat) was good. I've had better.

Having spent a busy day in Seattle my family were hungry. We found the restaurant by chance it it sis very small and looks more like a Cafe. The food was authentic, well presented and very tasty. The tables were waited on by a very friendly and genuine lady who cared whether you enjoyed her food.

The ambiance is lacking, but the food was really delicious! I love curry! Our table of 10 ordered a whole variety of items ranging from chicken korma, rogan josh, garlic naan, butter chicken. It was all fantastic! I think I liked the butter chicken the least, compared to the other dishes. We had enough for leftovers. It was just as... More

the wait is long most times so try to arrive later or earlier than the evening rush. The food is pretty good. If you are not a fan of Indian, they have some other choices like kabobs and humus. Not too many Indian restaurants in the Seattle area can compete with their food. Parking is hard to find so park... More

When I am in Seattle and I have the time I love to stop at Cedars because the food is just plain good. Our recent trip was no exception. The restaurant was fairly busy, so our service was a little slow, but very friendly. Start with the naan and then order just about anything.

Forgot about our order. We asked after 1/2 hour and they had forgot. Then the guy made our falafel with unwashed dirty hands. We had already paid so we left in disgust and deposited it into he nearest trash can.

Having grown up near New York City I have always been a fan of restaurants that have a food order window out to the street. I ordered my Lamb Shawarma and a Baklava from the sidewalk the other day, waited for about five minutes while they prepared it, paid, got back in the car and when I reached my destination,... More

For me, as an Indian who tried Indian food at Cedar's on University street in Seattle, it was a mixed bag. Most of the food was good, mild on spices by Indian standards but still tasty and the portions were large... overall good value for money. The distinctly Indian vibe from a large crowd of patrons was nice to experience.... More

so so indian food with no decor... resoundingly OK. College students will eat just about anything and think the exotic is great.

We went to Cedars for lunch. What a deal! The food is excellent and the portions are enormous. The nan serves at least 4-6 people for a couple of dollars. Staff are extremely friendly. This is a great place for a casual meal.
