enjoyed the location

We enjoyed the location of this restaurant. We sat on the 2nd floor overlooking Pikes Place with the window open. It was very pleasant. I had the fried Prawns, which were good. The batter isn't typical beer batter as indicated on the menu though. It was more of a thin dry batter. It was still... read more

We were hungry for some clam chowder and happened to pass by Lowell's. The prices were a bit high but we figured it was well worth it. The restaurant is two floors and we sat upstairs to get a nice view. I ordered the chowder bread bowl and it was delicious - ate all of it. Very filling! We also... More

Had an outstanding lunch here...fish and chips (Alaska Cod) and a nice pale ale. The wife had the seafood salad that had some nice smoked salmon, dungeness crab and some shrimp and veges...and some sort of ruby sunrise berry drink. Really good and an outstanding price, view and ambiance. I'd eat here again and given the fact that we're going... More

The clam chowder bread bowl was the BEST I've ever had!!! It even beat the clam chowder in San Francisco. Though it's a dinky little restaurant in Pike's Place Market, the staff was helpful and even though it was extremely busy, the staff was rushing to keep the the tables clean. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in... More

We took our friends here for an early dinner because we have always enjoyed their chowder and the restaurant's location is Pike Place Market has a wonderful view. The chowder is still very tasty, but unfortunately it now has the consistency of glue and all four of our bowls were served to us barely warm - we actually sent them... More

We always go to Lowell's for breakfast when we come to Seattle! They have a three story restaurant located in Pike's Street Market. The views are fabulous, coffee good and I recommend the 3rd floor. Really a unique place. Good service. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it.

We went to Lowells for a lat lunch and it was good. We tried the chowder which was tasty and the sandwiches and tacos( fish based) were awesome. Good beer on tap and great views, although it was noisy when we went due to the development of the waterfront with the sound of diggers etc.

pick a floor first and third order downstairs and they deliver to your table. Second floor they wait on you. We picked second floor. Got a great table at window with a beautiful harbor view. Service was prompt, kept coffee filled, very attentive. Went at 7:30 on Sunday morning prior to flight. No wait easy to get in and pick... More

We had breakfast here March 31st and were very pleased. Just a standard breakfast, but it was well cooked and served hot. There are a variety of menu items to choose from and all looked great. I'm a hash browns lover and their crispy hash browns really were great. The view of the sound was really one of the best... More

Had a terrific lunch today at Lowell's with my son. We arrived after a long walk through Belltown (recommended) after stopping by the Chihuly Museum. We missed the lunch rush, ordered promptly and found a window table on the third floor with terrific views of the Sound, ferries and Bainbridge Island. Our grilled cheese sandwiches and chowder arrived 5 -... More
