On a recent visit to his childhood home, my partner, his father and I agreed on Lowell's for a Saturday morning breakfast. Miraculously, parking at Pike Place Market was available and we strolled right into Lowell's. After some serious deliberation, and at my partner's dad's gentle nudge, I gave them my order and then headed way upstairs to scope out... More

It is a nice stop after walking through Pikes Market. We stopped for lunch and sat upstairs. The food was good but not award winning. However, appetizers and cocktails and a great view make up for it. A bit pricey and certainly touristy, but that's what most people are there for! It is definitely a fun trip walking through rows... This place is located in Pike's Place Market. That being said, it's very busy, and perhaps priced a bit higher than other places outside the market might be. The crab cakes were good, but certainly not the best I've had. Others at our table had similar comments. The food is good, not exceptional, and a bit pricey! Great view, and... More

It's not great . . The view is great! The food is very good. You will pay 20% more because it's at Pike Place Market. If you can be ok with the price: $10: 2 eggs, hash browns , and toast. The people are great, the view is great and the food is very good at a 20% premium. I... More

We arrived not long after the market opened. There wasn't too much of a line so it didnt take us long to get our order in and grab a table. We had a great view of the harbor which was shrouded in fog and was absolutely an amazing view. The fog burned off while we were eating so it was... More

Midday in Market, Lowell's is a plain, but nice place to visit. A view of the harbor, choice of ordering and being served or order at the counter, take a seat and eat. Good food, fair prices. Excellemt chowder. Great overall menu on the big blackboard on the first of the three floor site.

When the market gets crowded, Lowells is a good place to stop and relax. A little pricey as most of the market can be but very much a good experience to have. We enjoy the simple Sourdough Bowl of chowder which for $10 is a reasonable price. Views of the sound add to the enjoyment of the chowder

Taken here for breakfast and my companion raved about this place. It was busy and worked like a well-oiled machine. Prices were high for breakfast fare, but that's not a problem if it's good, but the let-down was the food was barely warm. The coffee was good and hot and the server was efficient & friendly enough. As for the... More

We chose Lowell's randomly amongst the many restaurant in Pike Market and we did not regret the decision. The calamari was so good that we had to order again. Oddly though, we got a bigger serving in our second order than the first. It was almost double the size. The clam chowder was heavenly though my daughter still prefers the... More

I went over to Pike's Place Market early on December 26th. I mainly went to take some pictures just as the sun came up, the market has such beautiful colors then with the neon signs and so deserted with just a few tradesmen setting up. After about 2 hours of walking around taking pictures I was kind of hungry and... More
