The room could be more comfortable, and the menu(s) is(are) a trifle confusing, but the food, served in smallish, shareable portions, is mostly beyond reproach. I say "mostly" because I was more than satisfied with the gnocchi and mussels that, along with some really superb bread (with Plugra butter!), comprised most of my meal, but friends were less enthusiastic about... I went to Lark for a business dinner. The food was great, and very rich. We had the Pig Belly, Waygu Hangar Steak, Yellowfin and artichoke salad. In other reviews people are complaining about the meal size, so it's important to remember, it's a Tapas-style restaraunt. The salad portion was probably the only thing that could have been a little... More

Based in Capital Hill, this is a great spot. Ingredients are all local and fresh. Plates are relatively small so it is possible to sample a few. The food is very good, and a change from other Seattle restaurants. Don't miss the Wagyu hanger steak. Good wine list, with quite a few good local Syrah. Atmosphere is relaxed and service... More

While my party of four (including two children) enjoyed the food and service, we probably won't be going back. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Seattle area that provide similar quality food and equally attentive service. For the price, we left disappointed.

Lark is a nice cozy romantic restaurant up in Capital Hill. It is dimly lit and they serve some fantastic food. The menu seems to be seasonal and usually has something for my wife and I. The first couple of times we went, it was incredible. And it still is. We booked Lark for New Year’s dinner, planning to go... More

We went to Lark tonight at the urging of my son, who joined us. The food was fine, but sheesh, I found the cost of their menu items to really be too expensive. You can eat in Seattle far less expensively -- not have to empty out your wallet and still have a great meal. Of course if you want to... More

Cozy space, attentive service, delicious offerings. There were adults of all ages from millennials to boomers. There were couples and large parties. It was a little loud when the 20-something's birthday table got going. It's not a restaurant for families with kids, but delightful for anyone else.

Still, after the 7th time visiting Lark (Feb 2012), I am blown away........ speechless! Now back home from a Seattle weekend, my palate tingles from the remembrance of my last plates before dessert, the.....super sleek cheeses: Persille de Malzieu (salt, blue), Dulcinea ( tangy). For meat, I had the Wild Boar and yes (2 meat dishes) the Crispy Liberty Farm... More

Five of us had dinner last night at Lark. Very comfortable setting in an older building near Seattle University. Best feature is the flavoring of each small dish. From the special salad with radicchio and frisee through the tuna quail, duck leg and grilled octopus each dish came with unique and delicious seasonings. We are local and will be back!
