Nicely prepared but small portions in a beautiful space.

We highly anticipated our dinner at Lark, which was a prelude to an Alaskan cruise. The food was interesting and well -prepared, but the portions were sometimes incredibly small. We started with a glass of wine first - recommend the Alberti Malbec and the Franco Molino Nebbiolo. We also ordered... read more

First of all - the food was amazing. We had a selection of cheeses, the chicken lasagna, and the Wagyu hanger steak. I thought the cheese and hanger steak were excellent. And since you are in Seattle, it is relatively inexpensive compared to the same dish in other cities. Where the restaurant totally failed was service. It was so bad... More

My husband and I did a trip in Seattle attempting to eat at only James Beard award winning restaurants. This one was a goodie. Of all the places we went, Lark had the best atmosphere. Food was solidly good and everyone was content with the choices. It wasn't our favorite (Poppy and upcoming Pomerol were better in our opinion), but... More

We recently ate dinner on a Sunday night at Lark. Reservations are essential. Even on a Sunday, the place was packed. The food was delicious. We had the steak tartare for an appetizer, then my husband had the salmon and I had the orechiette. My pasta in particular was outstanding. For dessert, my husband had the malt ice cream and... This was first trip to Seattle and we were on vacation looking for some good food. I have traveled the world for business and pleasure (Paris, Milan, Cabo) and I can say that the food, the presentation, and the service were among the best I have EVER experienced. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a dining experience at the... More

My husband and I had dinner at Lark in Seattle. It was fabulous. I had the wagyu beef tartare. It was melt in your mouth delicious served with tasty crackers. My husband had goat and pork orecchiette and I had ragout of sweetbreads. The food was so good. Do not miss a chance to go there.

Lark is a waste of money. The beautifully presented green chickpea soup was the smallest serving that I have ever seen and even with the carrot espuma and small piece of fried mint there was nothing to elevate it above canned soup. The $35.00 halibut while well cooked was a tiny 2" x 3" portion. The Crescenza lasagna with squash blossom,... More

It was our anniversary. We wanted an adult place with really good, interesting food. This is it. Tough choices from tempting charcuterie plates to fresh oysters, to pastas and great mains. We opted for a half dozen oysters (unbelievable), foie gras terrain (OMG) tomato and burrata & tomato salad (excellent with opal basil, but summer truffle faded into background) gnocchi... More

So I hate over sized servings. But these were so small that we left and went to Meat and Bread next door and shared a sandwich. Our starters, soup and a salad were just good, not better than that. The soup portion was probably three ounces and the salad just okay. Our main courses, my halibut was the smallest entree... More

Lark moved in December from its small space on 12th Avenue to a lovely new space at 952 E Seneca Street (at 10th Ave) -- Beware, the online maps have not all caught up to the new location; however, the above address will get you there. (It's behind the IHOP on Madison.) The food, the service and the room are... More
