Most eating in Seattle is expensive and for a family of 8 that can kill the pocket book. Hotel recommended the Hurricane. Yes, it is a dive bar and your shoes may stick to the floor, but server was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food good and price just right. Something for everyone.

This place was awful. Just really awful. We arrived in Seattle late in the day and wanted a quick dinner within walking distance. Our hotel desk staff suggested this place and I questioned their recommendations for the rest of our stay. When you first walk in you are smacked in the face with a terrible smell. A mixture of cigarette... More

It's a 24hr restaurant that has been in business quite a while and decor shows. Has good breakfast and burgers. A little pricey; however food was good. The shakes were handmade and very good; priced reasonably.

The only redeeming factor of this place was the food was pretty good. But I gotta be honest, I was a little afraid to eat it. I was desperate for food while waiting for the car rental place to open next door. Upon entering it smells disgusting in here. Just dirty. The tables look like they've never been really cleaned.... The food was delicious, but it was diner style, nothing fancy. I had a patty melt, aka a cheeseburger. You can get some local beers here, too, which were pretty good, but they only come in one size. "Beer size," as the waiter said, aka a pint.

Has a lot of history here, but he food was just your average greasy spoon fare. Can't really recommend it, but as I understand it, ithe whole block will be torn down soon, so it won't be around much longer anyway

Sad to say the best place in Seattle is going away. Being pushed out by high rises and big business. Its worth the effort to make it there before its gone. Yes its old and a little odd but the food is the best from breakfast to dinner.
