With a view of downtown Seattle, Palisade restaurant is a great place to visit as a tourist or a local. A little on the pricy side for the entrees but the view compensates.

We have been coming to Palisade for more than 25 years. It's our favorite restaurant in the Seattle area. The food, service, and setting are all great. Although it can be expensive, it's worth every penny. However, the Early Dining Menu @ $32 is an excellent value. All of our entrees were outstanding: seafood with green curry and noodles, steelhead... More

We went to this buffet as it was all you can eat seafood. Something you can't get where I come from usually. My main attraction was the oysters, crab, and shrimp. The oysters were shucked or transported clumsily as none of them had any nectar of the sea left inside of them. Which was a little bit disappointing. The crab... More

Quality of the food was average. It seems arranged to suit familiy weekend dining rather than gourmets in search of memorable flavors. Too large to be charming. While the view is nice as a waterfront place, it can get blocked by large ships docked nearby. Getting there is difficult even with a GPS.

Tricky to find, but worth the treasure hunt! The wall of glass provides for an uninhibited stunning view of the sound and the "sea" of moored ships. The layout of the restaurant and its tiered seating allows every table the opportunity to enjoy the view! I would recommend the bench seating in the center, although that may be the one... More

We chose palisade as the place to celebrate my parents 30th wedding anniversary, and it was definitely the best choice. The food was excellent as was the service, they followed through on offering the special experience that we were looking for. We had a great window table overlooking the sailboats and city view behind. Our server, Joel, was a friendly... More

A wonderful dining experience! Sunset, seafood, steak, all presented beautifully at this Seattle gem. Palisade has one of the best views of the city from a different perspective. Tucked under Magnolia Bluff, the vast expanse of windows looks out south over a marina to the whole sound, city-to-sunset. This is a very special place. The atmosphere is elegantly relaxed, a... Our son took us to this wonderful place about 10 years ago for a Sunday lunch. We were visitors from out of town. Everything was great; but we hadn't returned to the area for awhile & this location "slipped our mind" - even when we returned. However, this time, we rekindled this location. Now, on Sundays, they have prepared an... More

We are hosting several out-of-town guests during a conference and chose Palisade to provide the venue for a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We were not disappointed. The view is worth coming for and the tasty offerings more than satisfied our hunger for NW cuisine. Our guests were mesmerized by the view of Mount Rainier framed... More

not too bad is my comment-on the bland side -looking for lowest common denominator Its a big place and in order to get food out quickly and profitably its fast and efficient with food that lacks character there is a good wine list and the view is lovely
