Went here for a Saturday breakfast and shared a cinnamon roll with my husband and son. The icing was not too sweet and was very good. Their breakfast potatoes were flavorful. Service was quick and pleasant.

Went here because we love "diners" and heard how amazing it was Lot of good options on the menu - we sampled mostly breakfast items, and the overall value was good - nothing outrageously priced. However, the service was mediocre at best and really detracted from our overall experience. One of the charm of "diners" is the friendliness of the... More

A 45 minute wait for an overcooked chicken thigh on a waffle. Only once! I don't know why this place is so popular. No parking, little seating, rude servers, and only so-so food. Madness.

The food is great, they are usually busy, but the hostess is EXTREMELY rude. I've been in the industry for 10 years and know what it's like when it's busy. However, there is no excuse to treat your customers with such disrespect. I watched her give attitude to two customers who were in the wrong seat, to another customer asking... More

Saturday morning visit found a great vibe, friendly service, and the most KILLER brioche french toast topped with raspberry jam, topped with tender ham slices, topped with two eggs (I opted for over easy). Well worth the trip!

The perfect mix of retro cool, home style, and fill-your-belly good. This place ticks all the boxes. It is relaxed but still modern and sophisticated. The menu options are awesome. I could have ordered six or seven things on the menu. I ended up with the cornmeal waffle with pork belly and poached eggs. Once smothered in maple syrup this... More

Skillet was a nice place to eat for our first time in Seattle. The food was delicious and creatively prepared. So many choice on the menu! I look forward to coming back to try more of their dishes! We had breakfast here before our flight back and it kept us full so we didn't have to eat that awful airplane... More

Although it's called a diner, it's really several steps above that. It is healthy and upscale at the same time, and the food is delicious. As a kale lover, I was really impressed. Not only was my salad a delicious, heaping mound of fresh chopped kale, my dinner came breaded, gluten-free and resting on another helping of kale. The napkin... More

The four of us each ordered something different. #1 favorite was the fried chicken. I had the rock fish, cheese grits, and greens. Fish and grits were tasty. Greens were on the vinegary side. Very tart. All of us nearly froze seated by a window and back door. Dress warmly in the winter.
