I really would like to like this place given that it's walking distance to my house, but the food just isn't very good. I often judge a Mexican restaurant by the quality of their beans and rice and El Gallito is just bland. Even the mole isn't very flavorful.
I love Mexican food and it is hard for me ever to speak ill of it, but this restaurant serves food that is under seasoned and unimaginative. Disappointing.
I really wanted to like this restaurant. Really. But the food was heavy and dull. No thanks.
One of my favorite lunch locations. Great food, wonderful service and a family friendly atmosphere.
this hole in the wall makes me feel quite at home with their yummy enchiladas and requisite greasy favorites.
Best Chile Verde in the city
Good neighborhood Mexican food. Not great by any means.
My favorite Mexican restaurant
