I visited seattle and was looking for some local cuisine. What we found was the Kingfish. We had very good food but it wasn't local cuisine and it was also very overpriced. I would recommend this restaurant however, expect a high price meal for what you get. more

This is the best place in Seattle for Southern food! Heavy on tradition and authentic recipes, this restaurant is run by two sisters who know a lot about the food they cook. Busy busy busy place, and while I love it, it can be less than relaxing waiting for a table, since there's no real space in the entryway to stand and the bar is also full. However, it's a fantastic place! more

Good soul food. You can find cheaper soul food all around the CD, but this place does it with flare. Nice place to settle in and get some home cookin. Great catfish! more
