This place is my go to place to eat in Seattle. The chicken teryaki is the best I have ever had. You get miso soup and cucumber dish to start. With chicken is rice and a traditional salad. Price is right and service is great. You have to try this place.

The food is amazing here, simply saying. All Japanese cuisine, it is prepared by a master chef right in front of you-literally, the chef comes to your table and uses the table's heating surface to prepare your table's meals (knife tricks included). You eat at a large table- you may not know everyone there, but you'll know them soon as... More

Wonderful meal at this restaurant. Had the salmon teriyaki rice bowl, came with tempura broccoli as an added treat. Very affordable and I would recommend this place to any Japanese food lover.

We dropped $150 (three of us and hitting the pricey items) -- including a couple of beers -- no atmosphere; a mom-and-pop place, for sure, but with an even mix of Japanese-American and round-eye clientele; service good and waitpersons chatty ("You know, I've never thought about why we go 'picking' strawberries and 'taking' clams. Why is that, I wonder?" --... More

We enjoyed our stay a lot, Bento was very good and price as well. The service was attentive despite of the overcrowded place. The atmosphere was fascinating to us, with a lot of Asian people and families around. We felt definitely not like being in a "tourist place"

Great food - fully Japanese, Agedashi Tofu is amazing, the Unagi Nigiri is excellent, the Deep Fried squid was yum. Definitely one of the best value for money Japanese restaurants around and compared to Momiji and Nishino this is about 1/2 the price - food is great and family cooked Japanese food - definitely a regular haunt for me!

We read the reviews on both Yelp and TripAdvisor and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was filled with Asians eating sushi - so we were excited that the Hana reviews might deliver on their promise. We had Miso soup, 4 different types of Sushi and a Tuna appetizer. While the sushi was a good value for... More

The sushi here is possibly the best I've had! I have had sushi in NYC, Hawaii, and other great places, and this was some of the freshest sushi I have ever had. The salmon was to die for! Price was reasonable, too.

Had a bento box, which was ok but not fantastic. Only two pieces of sushi in it and the ingredients (i.e., fish) did not seem to be the best (that's whence the low price). Good service, though; nice people, and good location close to the Community College. Location - Broadway Ave seems to be Seattle's response to Telegraph Avenue with... More

This was our first time visiting Table 219. The helpful waiter told us they have been operating for about 12 years but was previously called El Greco. Two of us ordered the French Toast and it was agreed that is was excellent - thick pieces served with fresh blueberries and real maple syrup. I had the chicken fried steak with... More
