We stopped in on a whim while walking down first ave during our last few hours in Seattle. Impressed when we walked in. More impressed with the service. Even more impressed with the wine and food! Very clean, very nice, very inviting! Not a place for kids! This is an adult dining experience. It is costly but worth every penny.... More

Wow. From the moment we opened the door, we were in awe. Everything was so amazing. It was like one of the steakhouses from years ago that we see in the movies. The wine was beautiful, the Caesar salad prepared at the table was perfect, the sides were fantastic. We tried the corn and the macaroni and cheese and enjoyed... More

We have eaten at El Gaucho three times and have not been disappointed at any time. We went to Bellevue for my birthday and were treated like royalty. The staff presented me with a birthday card, and free dessert; the pianist gave me a CD of her music. The food was amazing, melted in our mouths. Downtown Seattle has a... More

took my family to celebrate my sons 28th birthday! Had been a few times before and the service and food was wonderful! The staff from parking valets to wait staff were friendly and welcoming. I do miss the cigar lounge as I used to use it after dinner.

El Gaucho sets the standard for private dining events. Their attention to detail and exemplary service are top of the line. Despite an always-crowded dining room, the private dining never feels short changed in either service or the quality of the food. The wine selections are extensive and always hit a favorite note with the guests at our events. Everything... More

We had the pleasure of having a business dinner here during my last visit to Seattle. The location makes you feel like you've been transported to a fancy prohibition speakeasy. The staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, high quaility, creative, and most importantly delicious. I had bites of pretty much everything at the table and it was... More
