I had been to Seattle many times, but had never spent any time in the Fremont area ...LOVED IT!!! I had spent a couple of hours exploring this fun part of town and came across this little Thai place with only a few tables inside, and a couple of tables on a small deck outside. It was a beautiful sunny... More

I've been going to Kwanjai's since she first opened her doors in 1998 (?- it was a long time ago). I've met the owner numerous times and she is always friendly yet business-like. I love to watch the kitchen staff work in the open kitchen, preparing the day's meals before my eyes. The quality has always been great and prices... More

Sunday 5pm: Yay! I'm a fan. Good portion, fresh ingredients, fast service once ordered, light seasoning and perfectly cooked. The brown rice was a bit dry today, but the sauteed veggie made up for it. Check out the spice rack if you want to the extra kicks for the winter walk afterward. 4 stars

The food here was good and the service was very good. Nothing fancy about the place, but the staff was very accommodating to customers. It was quite warm inside when we got there and sitting outside was the best option for the weather. The staff arranged tables for others coming in after us so that they could sit outside.

My family and I always go to Kwanjai Thai whenever we are in town. It is our all time favorite Thai restaurant. The pad thai is nicely balanced, not too sweet as some can be. The green curry is amazing, and we love pretty much everything there. The specials are usually worth trying, too! I like to get a Thai... More

I work in this area and eat out lunch every day. This spot is a regular for us. I'm a fan of their Phad Kee Mao.

I live in the area and usually order carry out/delivery and this is my favorite place! There are a million Thai restaurants in the area, but Kwanjai Thai is by far the best tasting, hands down! They don't deliver (bummer for me) but based on taste, this is the best!! The food is fresh, decent portions and extremely tasty. The... More

Ate at this wonderful little restaurant with family and it is as good as recommended. We started with a beautiful appetizer which consisted of Thai leaves surrounding little containers of fresh ginger, peanuts, toasted coconut, chilis, onions and a sauce. You pile on the food, roll up the leaf and enjoy in a couple of bites. Exquisite--there were many dishes;... More

My boyfriend and I found Kwanjai Thai by accident, we were looking for a different thai place in Fremont. That was the best mistake we ever made! We go to this restaurant at least once a month now and it seems like the food just keeps getting better. The freshest veggies, the best peanut sauce, and something for everyone. My... More

I love this place and go as often as possible. I'm still on the search for the best Thai in Seattle, but this is my current favorite.
