Well-placed Place

Situated in the perfect spot for a Green Lake Bar, the Greenlake Bar and Grill does unfortunately little to enhance its siting. The ambience is fine, if a bit faded, the beer is good and varied, and the food is ordinary. Still a good place to relax; just don't expect much, and you will enjoy it.

Service was friendly and fast. Drinks were poor. Fruit was old and in terrible condition. Very overpriced. Had crab ravioli was ok. Daughter had three pig macaroni was ok but not so great later that night. Outside seating ok. Overall won't be back, not horrible but not good. Service and location are really the only good points.

The GLB&G is very near Greenlake Park, a charming location on the northern side of Seattle. The food was excellent, in a fun atmosphere. The wait staff was attentive, without be intrusive, and food and drinks were delivered quickly. Portions are generous, and the food was well prepared and presented. Highly recommended.

While we found the staff very friendly and professional, they cannot compensate for lackluster food. I ordered a steak salad and found it to be the only one I have ordered any where that was just not good. I worked up a sweat trying to saw the meat into smaller bite sized pieces with a dull steak knife. It had... More

I decided to expand my neighborhood of restaurants and went to this place which I had seem from bus rides by the entry. I had heard it was a good dining place. It was busy when I entered with a friend but the wait was not too long on a weeknight. We were shown to our table, and service was... More

We went here just for drinks so I cannot comment on food. Our waiter was good - attentive enough but not overbearing, especially considering we only had drinks. It was busy when we had passed an hour earlier and it wasn't too much better when we got there (but that's a sign of a popular place, right?). Our drinks were... More

Considering the location I thought they would have good food but the reality is nothing special. Got the hamburger and soup, was OK can get same burger for half the price in fast food joints.

This restaurant has high-end bar food. I went with a friend for happy hour and love the atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating with a great view of Green Lake. Indoor seating is in the back and the bar has great light and a view of Green Lake. It is a popular meeting place and is usually full of folks having... More

Awaiting the birth of our first grAndchild we had 3 meals in 4 days at this delightful neighborhood hangout. A breakfast taco had a perfectly ripe avocado, fluffy eggs and just the right amount of salsa. The Mac and cheese balls--to die for. I had to make myself stop. French toast with a raspberry drizzle--yum. Crispy and fluffy at the... More

The Greenlake Bar and Grill is a pleasant, comfortable bar and grill that serves very good food in that genre. Service is very good, food is flavorful and good. Happy Hour is excellent. In addition, it is convenient to Green Lake. Fine place to spend an enjoyable hour.
